Having a young captain is not new as people have mention Carey was captain at 21. Also on memory Kernahan (Spelling) from Carlton was made captain very young and lead the blues for around decade. IF any of the young blokes can do it, like JT give it to him now. I prefer to have a long term captain than a change every few years, this is no disrespect to Green, but it should be given to the next generation.

Given the increasing number of offers I'm getting from Melbourne sponsors, I think CS has been actively promoting our membership base in gaining increased sponsorship. Not complaining just is illustrates an increased focus of Melbourne's membership value to outside parties and therefore more income.

I think the bulldogs picked the right man for their team, the returning son ie "leon", isn't always the answer but emotion. WHich lasts about half a season in reality IMO. Though Brendan does have a funny end to his nose...skin cancer or something?

Saw the article...it has been reported before. GWS are going to have an interesting side. A bunch of guys who should and have retired and kids. Though I do like the idea but it only works with their extended squad.

Yeah a few clubs interested, but he fits a need for us over the next decade and he's young enough to fit into the team where it is now and will be at his peak when we are. What more can you want. As for his history, he seems to have gotten his body right after being in the system almost two years and as for attitude, well thats for the club to find out. The main thing is as stated, get him interested in us and then work out a deal not the other way around. That way he can got o port saying I want to go the dee's. Make it happen or I'll walk to the draft. As for offering Martin, no way. He's a vital cog in the team. rucks and forward and even a backman. Mister versatile and far more valuable since the sub rule came in. basically a reasonable draft pick maybe 2nd round and a player or two. This draft is meant to be really shallow so no loss there.

All I can say is someone has too much time. In going back to find those... Remember football is all about hope, for now and the future as its constantly renews itself...thank god. I wonder what my old posts say lol
