Hard to argue with. He was just unstoppable, willing himself into contests.
-
And don't forget to hit their head with your leg as you stage the trip. That was a disgraceful free.

In the words of Bruce " Viney, Viney, Viney". Jack was nothing short of a sensational match winner last night.

Roaming Brian - Melbourne vs Hawthorn, Semi Final
Redleg replied to What's topic in Melbourne Demons
I actually enjoy Roaming Brian as it is a lighthearted look behind the scenes. Rather watch that, than the pontificating that goes on with some of the footy panels. -
I'll put it more succinctly for you WJ, we don't need other club's crap anymore.
-
Even Sydney knows it , yes we are really f....d.

Make space. Hit the targets. Don’t kick to the outnumbered player. Do the above and we will win.

That is the rumour, Lloyd and Newman to GC, Moore to Swans and May to Pies, and a swap of picks..

Apparently the AFL have ruled it out already. He will have to be traded. -
Someone told SEN they saw him and Dodoro today at a coffee shop.

Match Preview and Team Selection - Semi Final
Redleg replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I actually think Stratton is a bigger loss for them. He controls their backline. But no Jaeger is a big plus for us. The boys need to know that wounded animals fight back hard and remember the weak Pies side that kept us out of the finals last year. They still need to bring their best game to win this. -
Certainly a good reason.

They are either joking or have no idea.

I am surprised I have to keep repeating this for you R and B, as you know full well, we are f....d.

2 of them are ok. Best thing that can be done is give the big boo at bad decisions. With the large crowd, that is a large noise of dissatisfaction, that will affect future final appointments. That is all they care about. TBH generally finals are umpired fairly well. We just need to bring our best footy and umpires shouldn’t come into it.

32 you heard it here first like last week.

Sam and Jim have a son who is playing footy locally and hopefully can get to AFL standard and play for his dad's club. Great to see the family enjoying the Dees' improvement.

Match Preview and Team Selection - Semi Final
Redleg replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think it is pretty simple. Play our best footy and we can win. Don't and we probably lose. -
So happy we don't have to act like headless chooks and bid for every player who is mentioned as possibly available. That is the area reserved for the desperate clubs, who just have to grab somebody to satisfy their members that they are doing something. At our stage of development, we don't need to go after anyone who won't positively impact our list. That is a great position to be in. For example, the Cats got Ablett last year to top off their list and get them a flag, or so they thought. While he played well in games, he did not positively impact their list. Therefore, to me it was a failure, unless you are only looking at the publicity and a few more more memberships.

Only needs one and that is better disposal. We have one hbf ready to finish and he is the replacement.

MELBOURNE has ruled out the prospect of Dean Kent making a return this season, with the forward undergoing surgery to repair the AC joint in his shoulder. Kent injured the AC joint in his right shoulder after coming off second best in a ground level contest with Giant Lachie Whitfield as the pair battled for a loose ball in round 23. The forward missed Friday night's elimination final against Geelong and was expected to be sidelined for a 2-3 week period before the decision was made to book him in for surgery. "Dean was trying to get back to play, but his progress was really slow, so unfortunately he’s had to go into surgery today (Tuesday) on that AC joint," Demons elite performance manager Dave Misson told the club's website. In better news, veteran Bernie Vince – who suffered an AC joint injury while playing in the VFL in August is a chance to play in the VFL this weekend as he bids to earn a recall should Melbourne progress past Hawthorn in Friday night's semi-final. Hunt will be back next year and his pace off half back or wing will be damaging.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS

C’mon Ethan, break the story. -
First there are injuries so one or two of that group could be injured. Second it would not be impossible for that group to all play in the same team. Lever as the sweeper, with Frost a quick key back allows some variety.
