More to the point, why didn't we, given we will possibly deal AVB to the Swans and have a 2nd round pick and then we could have used that pick plus a pick next year to get May. I guess we will know all in 8 days.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
It is definitely not the price, as there was a week to go and the negotiations could have kept going. This is either Jesse not wanting to go to Freo, or Freo concerned about his injury or attitude. I still think the deal could go through. If it doesn't, hopefully Jesse signs at least a 2 year extension, or we are in for another year of distraction. The last possibility is that the Eagles have told him to hang in a year and they will get him across, as Kennedy will be 33 and they will have more picks or players to deal with. As someone has said below, it is now off the clip. It could be pure BS.

Might achieve that by deleting the existing Hogan thread.

Farewell Dom Tyson
I have always been totally in favour of getting Preuss. I just don't think he is worth Tyson.

Interesting comment by David Noble Footy Manager of Lions in reference to Neale. He said they would offer pick 5 and that there was also value in getting a deal done that allows other deals to happen. He then said he was very confident of doing the Neale deal.

We don't have the cap room, but getting rid of Kent, Tyson and maybe VDB should leave room even if Jesse stays.

You repeated exactly what I said. Why?

Farewell Dom Tyson
The Suns remain keen to lure the Victorian to Metricon Stadium and it's understood they're prepared to pay a premium – both in salary and tenure – to do so. However, it's understood Tyson, who spent the first two years of his career with Greater Western Sydney, would prefer to remain in Melbourne. The midfielder would also prefer to join a team where he can enjoy on-field success in the near future, having endured the tough times of the Giants' early years and Melbourne's lengthy rebuild under Paul Roos. From the AFL site.

I wouldn't. Only reason is to remove $500k from our cap and make room for May if Jesse stays.

GC need to come in with a long term, good offer for Dom. Don't think North would be offering him money he was on with us, $500k per year and certainly not for a long term. GC could make him an offer he can't refuse. I can't see how he is a straight swap for a bloke who didn't play a game this year and has a total of 8 games. Ridiculous.

North have already rejected that, which if they wanted Tyson would be amazing, as Preuss is an 8 game player, with none this year.

I am sure Brisbane would take a future first round pick, especially as he is a GC player.

In some places it is light late into the evening like Norway for example. So it doesn’t have to be dark to be evening or night.

Correct. Including 1965 none to date.

Should be an hour earlier.

It’s still today not tonight yet.

I think it’s on the same page as Melbourne Premierships since 1965.

Where do I look to find all the trades we have done so far?

4 more years at current pay would do it. Think they said he is on $500k per year. Won't get that from anyone else.
