GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
I am sure Buckley will be worried at breakfast. Oliver plays or Billy does. He would have planned for both.

Not really. I said "may" and didn't say star, but obviously mean another player. The fact that only 2 had picks before us doesn't mean much, as in fact they both could have taken him but didn't and of course their picks may end up better. Swallow has gone for surgery, Jordon is going ok for someone with so little footy experience, Chandler is also going ok and Neita is injured. Bedford has shown a bit also, albeit with low possies. However they are still a work in progress, as is Kyle Dunkley. Recently Taylor picked up Lockhart and Corey Wagner with low picks and they have played senior footy this year. Petty and Baker are also going along nicely at low picks. So with lesser picks because of trading, he is still finding footballers.

Looks like Jason may have got another one in the mid season draft.

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Of course he is. Goes with the season. We have had a late out the last few games to go with our long list of injuries and always good players. Meanwhile other sides we play have close to their best side in and then the week later lose key players. This week Lynch out for the Crows and Hurn and Yeo for the Eagles.

The No T$ No B$ Thread
I think our season is not proving we have a crap team, but rather with multiple injuries and poor kicking we struggle. We have nearly beaten the Crows and Eagles recently with half a team and when they were at full strength. In both games our goal kicking lost us the game. Therefore get most of the good players back and fix up the goal kicking and we are right in it again next season. A couple of more players getting blooded like Baker and Lockhart and with a few more into the club and we are really right in it. I feel better already. Banana smoothie here I come.

Hurn and Yeo their 2 best against us, out this week. How many times has that happened. It is part of the luck in footy.

Round 12 Non MFC Games
If you added the total IQ of all the people booing, it wouldn't equal the number of Gary's Brownlow votes over his career, or his games played, or probably even his goals kicked.

The great John Nicholls was also 188cms and would be dwarfed by Cripps.

Our FF Barry Bourke was 179 cms or 5'10. Our FB Bernie Massey was 183 cms or 6'. Our ruckman Graham Wise was 188 cms or 6'2". How times have changed.

You left out a better one, Don Williams. I thought Paul Prymke could have been a great if his back had of held up.

Opposition Accuracy is Killing Us
Spoke to a marathon runner today, who is a Dees fan and he believes it is to do with fitness. We tire late in games and allow teams to run over us, without much pressure and the lack of fitness also affects our kicking for goal.

Well that's at least 8 out and then we lost Hogan who didn't play in the Prelim, but his replacements in May and KK were also out and the kid we got for the 2nd Hogan pick in Sparrow was injured as well. Taylor is not our problem, injuries certainly are.
