Interesting to watch the highlights of Dawes on MFC website. The number of goals he kicked from ground level, I know it was obviously a small sample size but another string he hopefully brings to the team for a tall bloke. Clarke fly's, brings ball to ground, Burns off hands, passes to Dawes who snaps..... GOAL!!! Dees by 40! and is awake now....

BH personally I think 2 at a minimum with the "outside" leg speed is a must with one being a "mature" player ready to go. I know we will have improvement from those on the list currently but still feel we are 2 short of this in our current state at that role.

Welcome Dom Barry! He mentions McLeod as a role model.... If you are half the player Dom you will be a nice addition!

Hmm hasn't one of the biggest issues this season been "spread from the contest"? While it is great to have Viney I would have thought some outside run was in order too. Will be very interesting to see how it plays out over the next few seasons.

For us, a club NO-ONE of "real" value wants to come to. A club that has had players like Bate, Dunn, Maric, Newton running around for 5+ years, yes. A hundred times yes.

Congrats to one and all especially Couch! KC Tim Smith..... from the 2-3 games I saw on TV he flashed in and out. He looks like he has something about it but only showed small flashes. What are your/Casey's thoughts on him and where he might lead to? Any chance of AFL in him if he is young enough? PS here is hoping for another great year from Casey. They have really done very well over the last 4 years especially with MFC injuries, especially at finals time.

How many times did he shoot from tight angles, ignoring a team mate in a better position? Needs to "lower his eyes" or learn to kick them. He, like Martin, does show some flashes but needs to lift hugely this go around.

Why the lycra? I have never understood this unless you are in a race of some sort. I wear the "gooch" protecting shorts underneath shorts or jeans but never EVERs on there own. I have taken up riding (a Bauer commuter only) again recently and farken love it. The amount of times I actually arrive in advance or same time as cars/, trams etc is amazing. Keep left but not too far left near parked cars, I was almost car doored today not for the 1st time. Stand up and be tall when cars are stopped in traffic as cars turning across from the other side of the road can see you (again almost taken out 3 times recently). Watch out for people walking across the road, they do not look for bike riders at all. Have almost taken out/been taken out numerous times. Be careful riding directly next to a car as they tend to randomly swerve at unknown times without indicating at all.
