Were they recruited from up north?? Weetra was from Whyalla is SAIi thought and Sean Charles was recruited from Powelltown in Victoria?? Were the Cockatoo-Collins boys from Adelaide area or was it Brisbane?

Thanks for the dignified responses and the small amount of info on how hard the MFC, Craig Lees have worked to support Liam. All I can say is I wish the best for Liam as an person and can only hope he is able to truely show is talents on the AFL stage, he is one of a kind and would be amazing to see at the highest level at the peak of fitness and in tune with "todays game".

Where did you hear that tid bit? Interesting if true. I recall seeing somewhere that the time between stoppage has decreased significantly this year (ie umps bouncing/throwing the ball up a lot quicker) compared to last season and this minor thing is one of the reasons why you'd need not carry as much bulk, to get to the next contest.

I think our results beg to differ, even when we had 3 out of those 4 on the park we struggled. There is adding "MFC class" and real class. Clark for mine is the only one who has shown consistant class. Watts has improved this year and is on the cusp i'd think but is not class week in week out (only my opinion even though he has improved). Jurrah even when "down" still kicks 2 goals a game but is he class all the time and defensively, will he be here next year (god I hope so). Jamar while has played at AA level I don't think is class outside of tap work.

The article in todays The Age about Lisel Jones "asking" if she is too fat is a disgrace! Treating an Olympic gold medalist, the FIRST EVER SWIMMER for Australia to compete at 4 Olympics in such a way is purile and becoming The Herald Sun like "journalism".

Congratulations Brad. Selction 19 in the 1999 draft, the Aaron Fiora draft. 250 games including that enjoyable 2000 finals series, the last time I was able to go to the footy with my old man. Once was questioned on his "toughness" never his skill. MFC leading goal kicker in 2010, Bluey Truscott medalist 2010, MFC captain 2011, International rules player 2004-2011 and captain of the squad in 2011. Here is hoping we see a few more flashes like qtr 1 on the weekend of those 250 games.

Great effort by Sky and Wiggins they looked comfortable from the get go and never looked under any pressure, besides Froome and Wiggins. Cadel just looked like he was under done and so much for his stronger team this year. Here's hoping Cadel comes back bigger and stronger next year.

O'Brien is the same bloke Bate (maybe not the best guide) said has been his toughest opponent. O'Brien tries to make it as difficult as possible for his opponent to "get by him and break free goinf forward". One-on-one is very little of todays game with the soccer/basketball style zoning I would have thought.

Wellingham and Goldsack are two I'd hope we would target from that group.
