Missed last year OS and just a little excited to see this one, as you said 45 has the potential to be a cracker of a contest. Here is hoping Swans by 13.

Just thought I'd jump in on the theme. In saying that I have absolutely no facts in anyway to back it up. PS Nudge great job it certainly gets us thinking we are half a chance to improve.

.... I think he would be worth the risk, he has been a head coach. He has now spent I think 5 years at Port they have been one of if not the best performed team over that period and I think he would be more relaxed in the role than as a head coach.

Keen for Wellingham just because he is older and "proven" putting in some performances, has the mongrel in him as well. Worse player than who on our list at this stage? Besides Jones, Clarke, Frawls, Grimes, Howe and debatable on Sylvia. Who else?

Not sure about amazing but hopefully he will be a good get IF we can get him. At this stage I think it is highly unlikely we will win many "raids" as the climate seems to be very few players leaving established top 8/contending sides especially for MFC at this stage disappointingly.

The directive of the AFL to soften the game, I agree to a point on the players need to "protect" fellow players but when the umpires are directed to look for frees and laws of the game changed to enhance that let alone giving ridiculous soft frees... annoying

Agree totally RR, having played in the Southern Footy League it is much maligned but a really enjoyable comp to play in (well besides Dufftten). It is a rush to play against some AFL players too.

Which they have since sold off as they are under a montain of debt if I recall. Would need to be very carefully thought out.

Maybe he needs to take a footy with him next time and kick at some trees
