  1. Couple of spellings, Col 3 "math" was other one I saw. Great start and the facts against the [censored] the Hun highlighted is mind boggling. How can they get away with making such false claims?!!!! Robbo dropped the week prior?! Sylvia was in middle of 3 match ban?! F me. Is there no media watchdogs?
  2. Fire away wmth look forward to reading it with half truths and smudged edges of semi-fact like the current stories directed at us in these shenanigans.
  3. I expect as the part of the report relating to "the 3 minute fumbles" had a Benny Hill type 3 min skit attached to it.
  4. If dressed as his avatar please go from Flinders, will be more enjoyable for one and all.
  5. Still think early we will struggle up fwd, with our two key fwds not yet training to date.

Unfortunately no he could not at all. They looked good in the first drive but just couldn't get going from that point on. After seeing RG and the Skins go out today I always struggle to understand why they give so little chance for the back up qb's to work with the first team if they know the number 1 QB is struggling. I know the game is so technical and the number 1 QB needs all the reps but it is such a big gap when the main guy goes down.
  7. Paying for the training reports and his divorce lawyer... Great stuff FNQ, having been to a couple of session pre-Xmas I have no idea how you note so much down, do much is going on.

Looks like for GB it's death by AP, death by run with Ponder out. 33 yards for AP already!

4 mins to go in the 1st AP has 61 yards....

Here is "rooting" for AP to somehow get those 200 odd yards against GB.
  11. Doesn't scream "elite culture" does it.
  12. I think that is a broad brush you are painting Mifsud and all "freeloaders" PSD. Not knowing the roles and the remit of the Mifsud's, the Long's and the McLeod's in detail, the resourcing or what seems to be the lack of resourcing they have behind them makes your statement a little puerile. How a player like Garlett can slip through the "welfare" cracks across the entire footy industry as a whole not just Indigenous welfare is the question that needs to be asked. I'm sure his junior club, his senior WAFL club, his WA team and who knows what other footy related services he has been around have tried to provide assitance to him. If not then there are issues within WA footy. From seeing the tweets I doubt anyone could get through to him at this stage. There needs to be more ownership across all levels of the AFL sphere not just focussing on one employee or role. Clubs, Player managers, the AFL, Coaches Association etc etc. In saying that if Mifsud is under resourced or the role needs to be expanded then he needs to be yelling the loudest to his bosses.

If AP doesn't win it now it would be a travesty (caveat if Brady doesn't explode over the last few games) as he is as you said carrying that team. Just an amazing effort to come back after such an injury to see what he is doing now.
  14. Welcome. Dont't you mean the PC will be getting as much use but "in private browsing" less use?

Yup Raiders D-line was really good, they dominated the Broncs O-line. The number of red zone field goals for the Broncs was a credit to the Raiders in a sense. Gee wizz Carson Palmer..... peewwwiieee. Raiders receivers... double pppeeeewwwiieeee on the drops and wrong routes.
  17. It really is amazing now a days, the rewards are excellent (if you can stay on a list) but the scrutiny on a day to day basis at the club let alone in your private life does make you wonder is it to much. Seeing the ipad recording going on during training and showing players during drills was interesting to see, also the daily "leader boards" really jumped out at me.

Mate like him a whole lot more than TEBOW.... In saying that Peypey is still not back to the player he was (even though his stats are some of his best this season), you can see he doesn't have the same zing on his ball and he under throws to much on long routes for mine which I can see coming back to bite us in the post season. An amazing stat I have seen and was higlighted again during the Raiders game was Broncs are something like +20 in first halves but +120 in 2nd halves!!! Once coach Peypey has a chance to work with the rest of the coaching staff (har har)at half time they just seem to dominate. The defence, which has improved out of site, still gives up to many big plays I think but it has been great to see this season. I wonder what the long term plan is as Peyton won't be around for every.
  19. It's funny as all of the journo's on that station have said a number of times that Caro has had the best 6 months of footy journalism by anyone ever.... yet the footy people deride her.

On the couch ready to go for the Broncs game today! Here is hoping for a smashing of the terrible Raiders.
  21. BK indeed, seeing the article on MFC.com.au and Neeld's comments about the trip they have invested a bucket load if research time into this. They also said it might not show immediate benefits, outside of the mental side of things and team building but will in the long run physically and yes who knows maybe we will be leading the way on this for other teams for once. Teams were all doing Kokoda a few years a go with everyone from commentators to players to clubs flagellating themselves on the benefits of it, don't recall any teams going for a few years now. Didn't Byrnes do Kokoda on his own in his holiday; oh my god is he going to keel over with 2 trips to humid conditions?? Overall I think the Dee's are sure it will not be anything other than a plank in the overall long term program to get these players to improve. It is not going to be a panacea it is part of a number of different strategies of doing things to get this group over the top, while laying the foundations for long term success.
  22. ?! Let's not go overboard Chippa. Jinx on a player who has a stress reaction in his foot BEFORE he even gets on a flight to Darwin you're not that good pal. 60k to Viet in the 60's wow that is a big footy trip!
  23. I'll have first crack. It was cold, very bloody cold for a Nov session. Windy, was blowing a bit of a gale straight down the ground, it was on the ground Pies normally train on. As you can see from pics the Pres was there, Schawbby, Viney, Mahon's and a few others from the 'office' dropped by at certain points. Neeld loves to mess about with the coaches and players, in fact all the coaches do before sessions start. Seems like a great tight coaching group. Tappy arrived late, right hammy strapped up (sad face). The light drills group was larger today than last time I was down, Tappy, Mitch C, Russian, Flash, Spencil, Toumpas, Mckenzie, J Mac and one other. Hogs and Gawn did maybe 3 laps then headed across to oval set up with league goal posts with Tynan and Kent to work on agility and build load into the legs. Dawes running laps on his own before doing some in close ball work with Russ and couple of others before heading in. Col did all warm up but got to the end of the 2nd warm up drill and came off to get wrist, maybe thumb taped up. He went back out but headed off again at around half 10, didn't see him come back by the time I left at around 11.20. After warm up they moved into 2 tackling based drills. Far side was technique on backs then 'british bulldog' type exercise. As has been stated from previous sessions technique is go in low at the hips, head to the side grip and lift. Near side were 3 players in green, 3 in blue keepings of type drill. Players from both groups started 5m apart and each group had to get around a set of cones before ball was put in play and feed directly to one of the 3 blue players. Blue players had to then break through the 3 green players and get to a cone another 5m away. Main focus seemed to be working in tight, positioning, trying to stand and dish of in tackles for blues while greens was the tackling technique from above, in low at hips... I thought Howe, Jones, Fitzy and Jetta were stand outs of this. Dom Barry was getting a fair bit of feedback form Greeve's, Dom is a stick at present and really needs to get the technique right. Interesting to see Greeve's and one other coach recording this drill on ipads for future review and also showing Barry replays of how he was going during the drill. Next drill was 3 teams, green, white and blue. Set up so blue team had ball trying to keep it off green team. Blue had to get it to 8 (wild guess) consecutive handballs without a turnover, if achieved green team would sprint across to other wing where white team was waiting. Green would then try and strip off white team... then white team would sprint across to other wing and go against blue team... blue team would then come across to the other wing etc etc. I hope I was able to explain that one... Again another drill focussing on in close, contested work before being able to spread as hard as possible. I didn't really see any stand outs on this, maybe other did. Barry left main group at about 10 past 11 to do some agility work with Tynan, Kent etc. Howe also left main group around here and headed inside. Last drill I saw (too cold had to leave!!) was a full ground drill where blue team had to move the ball down the ground from defence. Little bit like circle work starting at full back but with a number of green 'defenders' trying to force a blue turn over.... they did this pretty easily. While it was windy indeed and it is early in preseason plenty of balls hit the ground or green team was able to intercept/tackle etc. Overall from the time I was there it was a really solid standard session, everything timed to the second, every drill thought out and preplanned. Plenty of improvements, yet we still have a long way to go but each session is a step forward. I hope I can get down towards the end of preseason to a couple of sessions to compare against the last 2 sessions I have been too. I don't envy the team going to Darwin to do the kind of sessions they do here in the heat and humidity, hope all goes well and they come back hungry to keep improving.
  24. He left training early with a wrist problem. He came off after the 2nd warm up drill to get right wrist taped up and went back into it. He went inside at half 10 and was not back out when I left at half 11ish.
  25. If you saw the news last night, Trigg was asked a few questions landing in Melb. One question was along the lines of are you worried about the hearing and any sactions against you. "The club comes first" was his response.... If I was a Crows fan hearing that I'd be none to pleased.
