Does anyone want to bring back the old Demonland?
Demonstone replied to CBDees's topic in Melbourne Demons
Nah, it was real unfortunately. Bit of an abberation, however. -
Looks like Rafael Nadal disputing a line call.

Me too, but I'm also fond of a little head.

As a result of that win, Collingwood jump from 16th on the ladder all the way up to .... 16th. Let's keep them there.

It's worth remembering that Weed hasn't even played 50 games yet. I reckon he'll improve considerably and I'd back him in to do so.

Congratulations to sue for winning this week's "Missed The Obvious Joke Award".

Alas, I think we've past the point of no return.

That was alright I suppose.

People are no longer saying that we paid overs for Rick and rightly so. He's a gem.

Haha! Not trying to pick on you Smokey. It's bad enough that so many nuffies think that plurals (or any word ending in an "s") require an apostrophe, but inserting one into a player's name is beyond the pale. Same goes for the cringeworthy but ubiquitous "Go Dee's". No apostrophe required! That hereby ends today's grammar lesson from Demonland's resident pedant.

How does she feel about Jone's, Harme's, Bray'shaw and 'Spargo?

McCluggage or McLuggage? Let's make him pack his McBags tonight.

I was quite angry with Robinson for that comment, mostly because what he said was true. I've since come to admire his footballing ability and gutsy play but wouldn't be unhappy to see the above scenario.

Where Will We Play Collingwood? (QB Big Freeze)
Demonstone replied to YesitwasaWin4theAges's topic in Melbourne Demons
Even worse is that the opposition parties at both Federal and State levels are totally useless as well. -
No love for Nathan Freeman and no club prepared to roll the dice on Tyson Stengle.

Again Fat Tony, there's no connection between the two. One is a Government led health and safety decision for Alice Springs and its communities based on a little pandemic you may have heard of and the other is AFL NT's wish for a local team in the future.

Depending on the fixture, it is possible that he plays against the same team two games in a row.

Kye. The third letter got the 'ell out of there.

I can't see how these two matters are in any way related. What's the "joke"?

John Hiatt's 1987 album "Bring The Family" remains one of my favourites to this day. He was asked to nominate his ideal backing band and subsequently secured his choices of Ry Cooder (guitar), Nick Lowe (bass) and Jim Keltner (drums). The chemistry was such that these four joined up again in 1992 to record an album under the name of Little Village but, sadly, the magic did not quite happen the second time around.

Our Max King who was on the rookie list from 2014-16. Not THE Max King from St Kilda.

Old dee's reputation for being negative goes far beyond the realms of Demonland, AF. He even has a make of car named after him, you know. (I assume MG stands for "Misery Guts").
