Unbelievable inconsistency. An embarrassment to the AFL! A blight on the competition! I give up!
  2. Yes, very interesting Luci. Last time I looked, Jack Viney was clear BOG according to the Demonland punters, but wasn’t ranked so highly by Goody. No doubt the disparity relates to team roles and how well they were played in the eyes of our coach, and of course, we are not privy to this information.
  3. We need to get used to the idea that most teams will go out with the primary purpose of 'minimizing the damage' when they play us. It comes with the territory of being the best team in the competition. 'Messy' but great win Dees!
  4. 6. Viney 5. Brayshaw 4. Pickett 3. Petracca 2. May 1. ANB Very 'messy' game with no stand-outs apart from Viney. Lots of others who could easily have figured in votes, including Langdon, JJ, T.Mac,, Clarrie, Gawn and Dogga.
  5. This is the most weird Gameday thread I’ve ever read …….... I hope it’s not a portent of events at Optus Stadium this evening! I can’t see the Eagles challenging our beloved Dees, that is, unless some greater power intervenes with thunder and lightening, or some such ………… but even then, knowing the Dees as we do, I’m sure we would ‘find a way’! Another regulation ‘Melbourne’ win coming up, with a margin between 40 and 60 points, I reckon.
  6. Pretty much as expected for a ‘squad’. Presumably, all those named will travel to Perth.

Maybe Hill will no longer want to leave GWS, with a new senior coach coming on board.
  8. Club-wide culture fix required imo …….. a la Peter Jackson / Paul Roos.
  9. .................. and tears rolling down my cheeks. (literally!)
  10. 100% BDA. To date Adelaide have had a huge recruiting advantage compared to the Victorian clubs, with SA being a one team 'town'.
  11. Really loved the podcast again fellas. Fantastic analysis of the way (and when) we move between gears. Great work and greatly appreciated!
  12. Maysie is always articulate, open and honest in his interviews. Much the same way as he plays his football in some ways. You always know what you will get.
  13. I’m not a big Bucks fan, but he nailed that comment! We witnessed a very, very good football team in action today …… and they just happen to be ours! I’m bloody stoked!
  14. 6. Brayshaw 5. Langdon 4. Oliver 3. Petracca 2. May 1. Pickett
  15. Well done Tommy Mac. 200 games, and put the ‘great debate’ to rest for the next little while, I reckon.
  16. The best (on paper) team we’ve fielded all year. Subject to any post-Covid implications, we will win comfortably. We are a much better team!
  17. Great team on paper …….. a winning lineup imo, so long as the ‘Covid 5’ don’t suffer any Ill-effects.
  18. Great points Bin I think it puts those arguments well and truly to bed.
  19. It’s a great testament to our depth and culture, when there is no room in the 22 for the four strong contributors from last weekend who will miss out on Sunday. Oh, and what pathetic commentary from the AFL, for using the language “Dees Dump Four” in these circumstances.
  20. Great news! Goody clearly is a great student of the game, and a great leader of men, and from all accounts, has played a huge part in developing the culture that has been critical to our recent success.
  21. Fantastic again! Thanks guys.

If Richmond FC can’t obtain approval to redevelop the site, how could we?
  23. I love it. Dees continuing to lead the way, both on and off the field.
  24. Far from perfect with lots to work on, but 4 points against a very competitive Hawthorn was full of merit. Our ‘core group’ of stars were imperious once again.
  25. Maybe the debilitating effects of playing in a very narrow loss in tropical Cairns, will offset the disadvantage to us of having (perhaps) 5 players returning from Covid next round.
