  1. Great points Bin I think it puts those arguments well and truly to bed.
  2. It’s a great testament to our depth and culture, when there is no room in the 22 for the four strong contributors from last weekend who will miss out on Sunday. Oh, and what pathetic commentary from the AFL, for using the language “Dees Dump Four” in these circumstances.
  3. Great news! Goody clearly is a great student of the game, and a great leader of men, and from all accounts, has played a huge part in developing the culture that has been critical to our recent success.
  4. Fantastic again! Thanks guys.
  5. If Richmond FC can’t obtain approval to redevelop the site, how could we?
  6. I love it. Dees continuing to lead the way, both on and off the field.
  7. Far from perfect with lots to work on, but 4 points against a very competitive Hawthorn was full of merit. Our ‘core group’ of stars were imperious once again.
  8. Maybe the debilitating effects of playing in a very narrow loss in tropical Cairns, will offset the disadvantage to us of having (perhaps) 5 players returning from Covid next round.
  9. 6. Gawn 5. Petracca 4. Oliver 3. Viney 2. Brayshaw 1. Bowey
  10. It’s not hard to see why we see Toby Bedford as a bright prospect.
  11. Unlike in the earlier rounds where I was full of confidence, I’ll be going into this game with some trepidation, and just hoping for, rather than expecting, a win. Unfortunate circumstances have provided a fantastic opportunity for a swag of players to stake their claims for a regular spot in the best team in the land, and I hope they grasp the opportunity with both hands. Dees in a very meritorious 7 point win.
  12. Absolutely. Very articulate and collects his thoughts so easily. Clearly loves our Club and the culture we have built.
  13. Still a very strong team, which highlights the depth of our list, and how well they are drilled. No doubt the envy of 17 other clubs!
  14. Congrats on the 150th guys. Another fantastic episode. Thank you!
  15. The MC should have an easier task this week: Vines for Dunstan; Lever for Smith.
  16. 6. Oliver 5. Gawn 4. Petty 3. Langdon 2. Sparrow 1. May
  17. The Tigs will be fired up for this one, but I just don’t see the firepower in their arsenal. I expect them to match us early, but when we pull the trigger for our 3rd quarter onslaught, the battle will be over in the blink of an eye. Dees by around 6 goals.
  18. Agree, but lots of indigenous artwork looks ‘busy’. IMO, the underlying story that it tells is its most important feature.
  19. Spot on Ernest. While I like Weed, and he seems to be improving, he still doesn’t share the desperation off the ball, and the second and third efforts, that his team mates demonstrate at every opportunity. While TMac has his physical limitations these days, he plays his role, and his effort is rarely, if ever, questioned. I have no doubt this is highly valued by our MC, and will keep him in the team ahead of Weed for the time being. Weed has a sound future imo, but he is yet to equip his game with the team ethos that my old coach referred to as ‘death before dishonour’. I think he needs to develop this at Casey.
  20. Spot on the money as usual Andy and Bin. As a Member from interstate, I really value your insights and analyses.
  21. 100% agree. Whoever came up with this ridiculous rule / interpretation, has absolutely no understanding or feel for the game itself. Emotion is an integral part of our great game. Take it away, and you tear it out part of what makes the game so great. The authorities need to understand that players don’t have an ‘on / off switch’ to instantly temper their emotions back to ‘zero’ in the heat of a game.
  22. Play of the year!
  23. A most ‘complete’ team performance, but

.. 6. May 5. Gawn 4. Spargo 3. Petracca 2. Oliver 1. Pickett Many others were unlucky.
  24. Just an outstanding, all team performance. Total ‘buy-in’ by every player out there. I can’t think of a weak link in tonight’s performance .
  25. I think our stingy team defence will get us across the line regardless of what they throw at us. If we can improve our delivery inside 50, and straighten up our goal kicking a tad, we could punish them severely on the turnover. I’ll split the difference, and go for a comfortable, 30 point, win.
