  1. I like it. No injuries and nobody is bashing the door down!
  2. Maybe something to do with a light week on the track, after a tough road trip and only a 6 day break.
  3. The 'stars' (all varieties), are continuing to align for the Melbourne Football Club.
  4. Becoming more professional with every episode. Keep up the great work guys. Thanks!
  5. ……… and regardless of his current form (which is of no concern to me whatsoever!), Max is the very best leader in the AFL by a country mile. He’s pacing himself beautifully, with Dogga at his side. There isn’t another team in the AFL who wouldn’t be envious of our ruck duo.
  6. From 'stop-gap', to Premiership player, to star player in a few months. Unprecedented! Bloody Hell, he's still just a kid!
  7. Pocket the 4 points, recover, and move on. That’s what the best teams do, and we are a very, very good team. ……… oh, and Dogga and Bowser were sensational. Imagine them in red and blue with 50+ games under their belt! Just wow!
  8. 6. Petracca 5. Jackson 4. Bowey 3. May 2. Oliver 1. Brayshaw i thought Nibbler was fantastic, but couldn’t fit him in. What a great team we are!
  9. I’m slightly uneasy given GCS strong performance in Round 1, but our command of the midfield, and our relentless forward half pressure will be telling in the end. A hard fought, but ultimately comfortable 6 goal win in greasy conditions.
  10. Welcome back Riv, the very obvious inclusion for Salo Just fantastic that we have the depth to cover injuries that, in the recent past, would have rendered us vulnerable.
  11. Loved and respected by everyone as a footballer and a human being, and a permanent part of the fabric of our great Club. Always in our hearts.
  12. Very happy with this news. Spaz is a good player, with a ton of upside imo.
  13. It was his hard running and second and third efforts that impressed me.
  14. IMO one of the most impressive aspects of our win last night, was that it was such an even team performance. I reckon you could throw a blanket over 10 or so players after Tracc, who was a clear standout My stab at it, as follows: 6. Petracca 5. Langdon 4. May 3. Oliver 2. Smith 1. Viney My votes 5 down to 1, could easily have included the unlucky Brayshaw, Brown, Spargo, Jackson and Neal-Bullen.
  15. A strong and even work ethic across the ground, a few more stars, and real belief in an excellent game plan, made the difference tonight. Outstanding win given our undermanned defence! Keep it up Dees, it’s a very long season. Love ya!
  16. I reckon the Bullies will be yapping at our heels for maybe a half and a bit, but then we’ll show them who’s boss, with our rucks and mids leading the way. It won’t be shellacking like the Grannie, but enough to show them, and any other wannabe contenders, that we won’t be going away any time soon. Dees by around 7 goals.
  17. Only just able to listen to our first poddy for the ‘22 season. Seamless transition from Premiership year to new season. Fantastic listening. Great work, thanks guys!
  18. 5. Bannon 4. Heath 3. Mithen 2. Lampard 1. Hanks
  19. Very lucky. Succumbed to Carlton’s pressure, but managed to survive (just) at the ‘death’. ‘Bath water’? / coming off a long road trip? Who knows? ……. but performances like that will not cut it in finals!
  20. If last week’s form is anything to go by, we will have a strong win leading into finals.
  21. Great humility shown by Kate in accepting our Premiership Flag. We should be very proud of the the people who currently run our great Club!
  22. Having endured all the pain, l thought re-living some of it through the documentary was important, to provide context for just how momentous 2021 was in the history of our great Club, and our supporters old and new. My eyes were stinging with tears for much of it, as I rode a ‘roller coaster’ of contrasting emotions: from the joy of 1964 to Norm’s ill-considered sacking a few months later; from the ‘poetry’ of Robbie, to heartache in the knowledge that he is no longer with us; from the despair of the potential merger, to the elation when it didn’t proceed; to the unforgettable journey, and ultimate tragedy of Jimmy’s story; ………… and then to the trepidation, followed unadulterated joy of September 2021. Outstanding doco imo. Never to be deleted!
