  1. The pull of home I think will be too strong for Howe to resist..
  2. Is this guy actually quick or not? For me I think the one major thing that lets him down is he isn't actually that quick at all?
  3. Now I'm just waiting for these stupid inflated 45% over valued Melbourne housing market bubble to burst!
  4. I honestly didn't think anyone was going to take the bait lmao
  5. Honestly.. How many more virgins must I sacrifice to grant a blessing from the Gods...
  6. Sorry if this has been said somewhere but did he seem to injure the same knee that he has heavily strapped? Thanks
  7. Get on your bike. It's posts like these that have people second guessing themselves on posting here because of germs like you. Neck up.
  8. http://m.3aw.com.au/news/leadership-tension-reportedly-building-at-melbourne-over-the-contract-of-ceo-peter-jackson-20150209-13a45i.html
  9. Only 24 years old, with the likes of Cross coming into retirement I think with Selwoods experience and leadership he could slot right in. I think this year is a very important year that we really go hard at Free Agents. The only star player we had who was eligible for Free Agency was Nathan Jones, but now that contract is all tied up there is no risk in deflating any potential compensation pick.
  10. Billy Beane: Jeremy, you've been traded to the Phillies. This is Ed Wade's number. He's a good guy, he's the GM. He's expecting your call. Buddy will help you with the plane flight. You're a good ballplayer, Jeremy, and we wish you the best. I found it very refreshing watching a scene like that unfold in Moneyball.
  11. This might have nothing to do with it, but when Trengove nearly was traded to Richmond before his foot injury to me that seems like Roos is after a solid durable team. If he was willing to trade Trenners I have no doubt Mitch could have been in the same boat and they did what they could to ensure we get something in return. If the media and teams caught wind we didn't want him, clubs could have played hard ball.
  12. For McKenzie as a tagger, having a dominant engine is 100% vital.
  13. I think when we are competitive and in the game, Watts shines. He isn't the type of player to stand up when we are getting belted and try to perform. To me that's the definition of being a passenger.
  14. Mark Neeld was a poor head coach, but by all reports a great assistant / midfield coach. I think the same could be said with Brendan Mccartney. I feel both of them have strong attributes that lie respectively other than being a head coach of a football team.
  15. Remember when this kid was the whipping boy. This holds a lot of hope for blokes like Watts and Toumpas. With hard work and dedication ANYONE can turn it around.
  16. All I want for Christmas, is Jonessyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  17. Let me pose this question to the public.. If Howe wasn't a high flying marker, would he even be in our starting team?
  18. I don't know about you guys.. But I feel as though this draft was a very important and VERY successful one.
  19. http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/knightmare-2014-phantom-draft.1081319/#post-35992168 Updated one there mate
  20. I have this gut wrenching feeling St Kilda might take Brayshaw at pick 1. For some reason he appeals to me more than Petracca. Just seems to be the complete AFL prototype midfielder we need.
  21. In b4 he has a poor year and his trade value drops significantly.
