  1. Its been corrected now, but still... ?
  2. ... or Hunt, who we also got with the pick that came back in the trade. Or that Tyson (who was poor but still serviceable) was effectively swapped for Preuss and the later Preuss trade helped us get B.Brown. Kelly trade is the gift that keeps on giving.
  3. Whoever we bring in to replace Tomlinson, we are going to miss the flexibility he gave us by basically never coming off. Prior to today he averaged 98% time on ground. Ed Langon as a comparison is 93%. Leans me towards wanting to try Tmac (90%) down back so as to not disrupt rotations through the rest of the team too much. Petty as an FYI is at around the 75% mark
  4. Footywire has Jackson out? https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/afl_team_selections Don't see anywhere else, so assume its an error?
  5. In terms of mindset, this game is complete opposite to Tigers. Saturday night we had nothing to lose whereas vs North we have everything to lose. Its a completely different sort of pressure so it'll be interesting to see how we handle it.
  6. I loved Max charging through the middle after the one/two with Viney and Petracca, then hoofing if to Oliver/Spargoat who won the contest and got it out to Dogga for a clear run to goal. That, Hunts run, and the other length of field passage that finished with Spargoat clearing the way for another Jackson goal were awesome.
  7. I'm not very good at describing what I see on the footy field, so apologies in advance... Bedford looks the most likely at this point to take the next step. Didnt have as much of a stand out game as the last couple but his speed, aggressiveness and attack on the ball and opposition were still impressive. Bowey was similar, but looked a bit timid early. Got into it more as the game progressed. Not as quick as I thought he'd be, but then the conditions were bad for a fair chunk of the game and not really condusive to hard running so I'll reserve judgement on that. Got a great kick on him though. Smith is in everything. Quite a slight fella but it doesn't seem to bother him at all. He was often the one you'd see running around in support of team mates, mopping up the loose ball. Often got to it first when he probably had no right too. Majak though, was very impressive. He's got a great vertical leap and tap, and to my eye, dominated the Richmond rucks, one of which was Chol. He took a couple of big pack marks in the forward line which definitely raised my eyebrows. Very handy acquisition
  8. I'm not a coach, but I was there and he had a very good game. FWIW.....
  9. I didn't take note of when it was exactly but there was a close up shot of Viney having just been tackled. As Nankervis was getting up, he reaches over to Vineys arm and pinches him... ? Sure are tough those Tigers
  10. Lingering MFCSS says that this game will tell us just as much about where we are at as last night did, if not more.
  11. Prior to the game there wasn't any full game replay listed. Just those AFL Mini things. There is now a full replay on Thursday morning @ 8.25
  12. ? https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/r6-roast-toast-and-changes-for-bulldogs-r7.1264479/ ?
  13. Is there a Richmond supporter on the planet who doesn't throw a tantrum each time a free is paid to the opposition? Comedy gold on the hill
  14. Weid, Petty & Sparrow are all warming up with the Casey boys. No sign of Chandler so guess he's it for sub duty
  15. Has this actually been said anywhere? Or are people just connecting their own dots cause Tas govt hasn't made a decision re Norf and Marvel is free?
  16. Definitely 2pm ?
  17. For anyone else wanting to head along who may have missed it, the instructions and promo code for discounted ticket are here: https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/915843/game-day-guide-afl-round-6-2021
  18. There's a QR code in the ticket. I'd just assumed that could be scanned on entry like we do at the G? Might go to library on way and print it out just in case. Who owns a printer these days!
  19. I hope Sparrow is released from sub duties and allowed to go back to Casey for some game time
  20. I had written the time in my original post, but along with re-wording most of what I said, and adding a picture, the time was removed. Not sure why.
  21. This week the Casey Demons take on Richmond on Saturday afternoon at the Swinburne Centre (Punt Road Oval) so itโ€™s a nice stroll from one venue to the next for anyone wanting to make a day of it.
  22. I'm all for the attention. Attention = relevancy and if the team continues to perform well that'll eventually = respect. Tonight on the sports news our team selection for Saturday was the second story, ahead of (would you believe) a story re the new Collingwood president!
  23. JTR replied to Redleg's topic in Melbourne Demons
He was also very impressive and comfortably amongst the best the week before vs Williamstown.
