Jesus... ? It was a VFL practise match. They weren't even taking stats. The Casey Demons twitter account posted quarterly updates re what was going on, who was getting involved..etc. I'm not going to provide the link, cause I'm sure if people cared as much as their complaining would suggest, they'd have already found it by now. Wasn't hard.

Not sure he does yet, or if his foot is ready for it. No idea what percentage of the game he played today, but last week vs Bulldogs he only played a half and was then sitting around afterwards at Marvel with a heavily strapped left foot.

Not really the point I was making. If one of your mates was copping it from someone else (rightly or wrongly) I assume you'd want to go in to bat for them? These flogs were right beside Viney & co as they were giving it to whoever at the time, and they knew it. Thats a bit different to the heros on their keyboards here or someone yelling from stands where their target or friends of can't hear it. It was cringeworthy and they knew there was absolutely nothing the players would/could do about it as even a "steady on mate" would probably have resulted in the cameras coming out and a nice little incident for the media flogs to salivate over.

5... Viney/Oliver/Brayshaw/Melksham/Brown for showing great restraint as three [censored] Bulldog supporters beside them hurled abuse at their onfield teammates all game.

I take some comfort in the fact that Oliver, Viney, Brayshaw, Salem, Kossi, Melksham, Weideman, Brown and co are sitting in stand behind me.

I'd rather go and be disappointed, than not go at all and maybe miss the only opportunity to go to live game all year. This time last year I went to practise match v North at Arden, followed by All Stars game at Marvel. We all know what happened after that... ? So yeah, while I can go I will!

I might go for a look, then head back to Marvel afterwards. Make a day of it.

Same. Still have original recordings on IQ of the finals games plus R22 game v WC and R23 v GWS. If IQ was a cassette tape I'm sure it'll be well worn by now.

I enjoyed the part where he did an assessment of himself being a difficult match up for opponents on the wing, considering his height, endurance and speed. Verbatim - "put a normal sized winger on me and I'll out mark them, put a bigger guy on me and I'll get them with my running/endurance/speed". Very confident young fella ?
