Seller tweeted that he wasn't fussed, no big deal, just happy to be a part of the win. I'm sure it wasn't done on purpose, just an oversight by the group.

Demonland Player of the Year - Round 10
Bring-Back-Powell replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
6) Garland 5) Watts 4) Grimes 3) Rivers 2) Nicholson 1) Jones -
Hoping for a wet night like the saints game when we only lost by 3 gls.
-
Nobody has the right to bag McLean or suggest he wouldn't be good enough at MFC. He would be hands down our number 1 midfielder at the moment. He tore shreds on our 3rd world midfield. Apologies to N Jones. We could do worse than a McLean at the moment.
-
I'd bring back Col Sylvia. If the camera wasn't on him when he was laughing with the Sydney player, would have he been dropped?
-
I'm starting to question Jamar's worth to the side. Gets tons of hitouts but this is totally offset by our inept midfield. He got 5 possessions and 0 marks on the weekend- yes 0 marks for a 200cm footballer! He's averaged about 8 possessions for the season He can't shoot for goal to save himself I'm starting to think losing Jamar to free agency won't be the end of the world. I say we take the compensation, sign a Griffin or Hille for 1-2 years while we wait for Gawn to develop. Or we simply go with a Spencer/Martin/Fitzpatrick combo with relief from Clark.

Wooden spoon (picks 1,2, 12 and Viney) is ours if we lose.

Get ready for the pain this week v Ess.
Bring-Back-Powell replied to Total-Dee's topic in Melbourne Demons
We haven't had enough pain already? I'm expecting the boys to put in a shocker this week. They'll be complacent after an 'up' performance V's Carlton. -
I would only trade any of the above for players, not draft picks. We already have 4 top 25 picks including Viney.
-
If we put him on the trade table is there any chance we can package a deal with west coast to get Nik nat?

Huge outs for Carlton. 7 out of their best 22. Another 100 pt loss will be simply unacceptable.
-
1) Carlton 2) Collingwood 3) Essendon Strangely, I'd rather beat North over the other 3 clubs.
-
I hope you're right!
-
Good. Normally I'd be upset if I saw those 2 in the outs, but they've given us nothing all year. Morton was woeful last week, subbed off and will probably pay the price.

In the above scenario, wouldn't we have to get Viney at pick 12, assuming the club with pick 3 bids for him?
-
What are the implications for Neeld and the senior players if we have back to back 100 point losses?
-
Conversly, what are the implications of a 10 goal + loss?
-
Petterd has been the single biggest disappointment of the season so far.
-
Ha ha gotta love the weekly cycle of Demonland: Saturday/Sunday - "we are a disgrace" "We're the worst team since Fitzroy" "Sack Neeld", "Drop Watts" Sylvia is a joke etc... Thursday night -"best side this year" "Neeld was brutal at selection, good on him" "we can sneak a win here" Saturday/Sunday - "we are a disgrace etc........ At the start of the year if you would've given me this week side, I would've been confident of a win and excited by that forward line.
-
Gee I'll be sweating on the availability of Seller this weekend.....

Thursday May 17th - Jurrah-dgment Day
Bring-Back-Powell replied to Jonesy!!!'s topic in Melbourne Demons
Would be the first club in the VFL/AFL to have a listed/contracted player go to the clink? -
He's been terrible in his 2 or 3 games this year. However, he was a live wire in our win V's Collingwood in the NAB Cup in March. And it was only 12 months ago when he starred V's Adelaide with 4 goals and got brownlow votes V Port in Darwin. A talent that should be persisted with for the time being. If he's still struggling by the end of the year, it may be beneficial to part ways.

Why we will beat Sydney

Terrific, Neeld's new game style is suited to a venue we play once a year. -

If we lose by 40 pts to GWS and the Dees players are laughing and chatting and smiling after the siren, they may as well shut up shop and hand their license back to the AFL. -
It's amazing that in round 7, 2011 we beat Adelaide by 96 points at the MCG. Moloney got 3 votes in this one. Now the bloke has the sooks. Sylvia kicked 4 goals V Crows. Now he can't be arsed doing anything. Petterd also kicked 4 goals and looked super dangerous and dynamic. Now he doesn't look AFL standard. All 3 could and should (bar maybe Moloney) be dropped this week. All 3 are supposed to be in our top 10 players. Something seriously stinks at this club.
