I don’t understand this ‘I’m cancelling my membership’ or even more so this ‘what other team should I barrack for’ chat… I get people are unhappy with our situation. I’m not thrilled either. This is actually all bat**** crazy. After picking up the phone to Geelong knowing they had bugger to trade with AND they already had Bailey Smith in their sights, if Melbourne go “nah, we’re gonna keep him, we don’t like the look of what you’re offering” that would be the most outrageous, stupid and cruel (to Clarry) thing I’ve have ever witnessed in football. Worth the listen. Sam in the camp of ‘I felt things were on track again’ l, Kane in the camp of ‘the damage is lingering’. Kane says a lot of over the top, inflammatory things and I’ve been very critical of him in the past but his view here is pretty balanced and I largely agree with him.

I remember him from that draft but it is difficult to be seduced by a young kid who can’t earn his second contract at the club he has been with for the last 2 years… I’m not a huge Owies fan but at least the guy has kicked 60 goals at AFL level over the past two seasons
