Who would you barrack for if it came to pass? I’ve asked a few Demon-supporting mates from Tassie what they would do if that team comes in and the general response seems to be ‘would love a Tassie team to come into the comp but would still barrack for the Dees’

I also twitch a bit when I see good players linked with clubs other than mine but remember this; We’ve recently won a premiership and we’ve only just fallen out of the top 4 for the first time in something like 2 years. It appears to me that Tim Lamb and co. know what they are doing. We are also the club that doesn’t leak so how do you know we’re not in the conversation with King?

My other immediate thought on this article was that it was more than a little rich for a Hawthorn supporter to ‘take the high ground’ on sticking fat with an under-performing side. Their adult-supporter base was built on late 80s/90s success !

The dogs are perhaps less worried about ‘how’ he gets it in there (because they’ve got so many marking options)? Hope it works out for him - from round 2 onwards, of course.

Feel we dodged a bullet. Haven’t seen his stats tonight but felt he didn’t get heaps of it and had little influence on the game. Even last year when he was racking up possessions it didn’t feel like he was hurting sides.
