  1. Love this option, this kid showed a lot last year. This year ruined by injuries. I'd prioritise getting him over that GWS kid. Both would be great of course.
  2. Ollie Lord at Port the latest to been possibly looking for a move. We should go hard at this kid, really like what he has done in his games at Port. [censored] year with injuries this year, but a good young key fwd
  3. 100% what we need. 1 year contract getting paid bare minimum. If he has to come in for Max he is capable at AFL level. Not many options going around in this department that can compete at AFL level.
  4. Kennedy is a great get. He can play the defensive mid role that Brayshaw played and is a very handy Fwd/Mid, which would be a good rotation for Trac
  5. Yup, hopefully Green does see this for what it is. We already have problems with stuff leaking to the press, dont need advise from another snake.
  6. I think people get a bit hung up on a tall being over 195cm, the AFL has shown that if you have 2 talls that can't apply adequate pressure you will get rebounded on very easily. This is why you can just go and get any tall fwd as JVR and Fritta aren't pressure players either. Tough balancing act and i don't envy who has to make calls, bringing in another key fwd could see us lose a Turner/Petty/Jefferson
  7. That would be why i said Brayshaw type
  8. I like the idea of Kennedy from Carlton, only 27. Can play anywhere on the ground and is obviously a fringe player for the Blues. (which he shouldn't be) Think he could be a Brayshaw type player for us
  9. He and Goodwin would work well together, both have good game plans. between the two they could find the right formula. And all good to say that, but they don't grow on trees, McQualter was exactly that and no one wants him now, even with the rough hand he was delt.
  10. If he is gone, Go hard at Hinkley. If they lose this weekend he is gone, apparently an amazing player person and has proven he is a good coach too. Obviously finals an issue, but we need some stability atm and he is a great option to help goody.
  11. I Actually though he played a lot in the VFL this year, but looked it up and he hasn't so you may be right.
  12. Not looking for him to walk into the side. But could just be a good back up for if our young talls take time
  13. That's my thinking, even if he doesn't play a game. it's just a free back up
  14. What are peoples thoughts on Sam Day from GC. He has been desisted by GC so he is free! free in draft capital and cheap on a 1 year deal. Just think its a good back up option.
  15. The article is about Carlt signing a different Fitness guru. nothing about Burgess, but they were apparently a front runner for him.
  16. Crows don't have a Petracca, Oliver, Viney, May, Lever and Gawn to be fair
  17. https://www.sen.com.au/news/2024/09/04/blues-poach-rival-fitness-guru-as-new-high-performance-boss/ does this mean Burgess has signed somewhere else? Maybe us? please be us!
  18. I Really hope so, Langford looks so good
  19. The Media melt down after being proven wrong with Petracca leaving is soo good. I hope the Dees are sitting back laughing at them
  20. They have Rioli coming in and have the right amount of points now. We don't have close to the picks to satisfy a first round pick.
  21. GC need the picks for academy and Freo need for Bolton and Baker.
  22. Yeh we are not going to have a pick around the mark to get Jack unfortunately. Unfortunately with the draft being so strong this year no one is giving away those early picks for future picks.
  23. Matt Whitlock - 199cm Key Forward/Def Whitlock had joined his twin brother Jack in the forward line for the Bushrangers until last week, when he shifted back to defence and had a day out. He took 11 marks and collected 24 disposals while mopping things up in the back half against Dandenong. Whitlock’s versatility is part of his appeal as an athletic tall prospect at both ends of the ground – as well as his surety in defence, he has also kicked 19 goals in 11 Coates Talent League games this year. This kid looks perfect for us, looking like going mid to late 20s. Providing that is what we get for ANB i love the look of this kid, can be a replacement for May/Lever in our future defence or at 200cm he could become a Fwd/Ruck
  24. Alright, lets get our [censored] sorted and get Trac to finish as a legend of the club as he should have been all along. Hopefully the shake up we need has been fast tracked now!
