NON-MFC: Finals Week 03
Is it ok to want Hawks to win so King can get down to work?

Steven May's Future
Good move from the club, May has been great and could still be good for a team. Goodluck to him and if we are lucky, we might get a third rounder back for him which we can use for Khalani But I don't think we can carry both he and Lever with the Injury issue they both have. Hopefully this also means Petty back to defence!

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
My mouth waters at Trac for Thrilla, but it's a pipe dream

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
My ex partner but her body through a lot to give me my beautiful daughter, I will forever be grateful for that. But that's as far as it goes. If he walks out, he will receive the same treatment, thanks for the flag, but not good luck!!

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
Someone that leaves the club in this way over the past 2 years can 100% be Boo'd

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
Don't read into the Trac articles too much, been sitting on the "Journo's" desks for 8 months waiting to put out there. Let him sit down and talk with King first, get an idea of where his place is moving forward and if he is happy with that. If he is then not happy with the direction, we then look at a trade. Morris also says in his article that there is less of an interest then last year for Trac to move, which screams it's a nothing article at this stage. King believes we are a finals team, and if so, Petracca is a finals player! He will be a big part of King's plan and now he can sell that to Trac.

Our Salary Cap
We Have been linked to both Windhager and Flanders. Neither will be cheap, so there must be a bit there. Over the last few years May, Viney, Gawn, T-Mac have all signed contracts that I suspect wouldn't be a pay cut (besides T-Mac) but haven't had a pay raise. Which is sort of a pay cut with increases etc.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Only been one Former Adelaide premiership coach too

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Wow this guy is impressive, I am very happy with this. even to the point where he made about Casey into a positive and an improvement he plans to make. I think he will drive tough standards but have a way of making these standards ones that everyone is a part of making which will get people involved and on board. Great to hear him say he wants to work with all premiership players, and move on from questions about the past, avoided "headline" questions with poise and class. Guerra also fantastic, not buying into stupid comments or questions from the media which by god there were some. He looks to be a strong and articulate leader! And my fav part of all of this was the fact Brad Green could not wipe the smirk of his face when asked about Caufield, he tried and then it came straight back. Which to me(maybe i am reading into it too much) means something significant has been agreed on. Bring on 2026!

The Next CEO
Paul just spoke on SEN with Kane and Kingy. He spoke amazingly, very very impressed with how he approaches every question and doesn't fall into the baiting, which Kane tried a few times. Strong, and sounds focused on a direction, which can only be good for the club as a whole!

Farewell Charlie Spargo
Best of luck Spargs, surplus to our needs and the right move for both he and the club. Interesting from NM though, unless they are paying him like 600 a year.

Rule changes proposed for 2026
Its a great rule, works amazing in the SANFL, and takes a bit of the "me time" away from the umpires

The Marcus Windhager Thread
He is 100% worth a first. If we can get it cheaper, beauty. They did, but then upped it to 4 years at ok money. But it sounds like maybe the damage has been done.

The Marcus Windhager Thread
Don't be fooled by his past tagging roles. He was put into the midfield in the last 4-5 games as just a pure mid. And he excelled, he is a very good footballer.

Trade Targets
Thank God SOS isn't our list manager!!

Potential Father Son Prospect Noah Yze
Whilst I agree, McAdam hasn't had a chance to prove himself yet.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Teams will want Oliver if we pay half his contract, but I think we have been clear that's not going to happen. Unfortunately, things getting into the public hasn't been our strong suit in recent times. Yeh exactly, all a waiting period till new admin come in and Coach, and Trac was a Collingwood supporter as a kid, I'm only guessing but surely he would be excited to work under Buckley if he does become our next coach.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I think the fact there is bugger all talk about them leaving is a good indication. This time last year the jungle drums were beating loud, this year it just that last line a journo chuck in their story to gain an extra click or 2.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Ken is a great coach, he had an average list. and took that club from almost folding to multiple prelims. He was the same as Goody, good coach but his time there was done, i don't think he would be a good coach for us. His game style was very much the same as Goodies, and just like when we lost that big tall in Ben Brown, Port also dropped away when Dixon retired. But they played the territory game and inside 50 game much like us. Ken would be a great assistant coach to knab, apparently is a very good people person, motivator and gets the best out of players.

CASEY: Elimination Final vs Williamstown
Ah ok, I can't find anything online anywhere saying you can re-nominate. But I also can't find it anywhere saying you can't. I think it is all a moot point anyways, if we do take him, it will be very very late or even rookie pick.

Steven May's Future
Go over the AA full backs over the past 20 years, they will all be on or around this list. Alex Rance was always top 3-4 in the reverse Coleman, but people rave about him. May has declined yes, but is more a victim of our poor transition to def from turnover. Makes it very hard to get into position to intercept, like he always has, when the ball comes in so fast and with minimal pressure. I do think he is one we move on if he is happy too or wants too. i'm actually surprised Moore isn't on this list as he is another one who get goals kicked on him because he is and aggressive backman.
