Yup SA lad here, I'd say they will train at Norwood oval. We have a fair few SA boys in our squad so they will get around them. Maybe do a simmilar thing to what Petracca did with Kossie last yr. Maybe go to Petty's farm and suck up to his olds 😜

8 out of 24 isn't a lot. And the two Adelaide games you would think they stay there so will only be 7 trips.
  3. McAdam makes a lot more sense now 😭

Is he actually an ex cop? Explains a lot if true! Wish coaches spoke like this more often and just don't feed media [censored]. The Petty stuff still worries me, hope we can get him to settle in Melb. I Travel weekly to SA so happy to transport his mum's cooking every week.
  6. F3rd and saints are paying part of his salary, good for depth and if he reaches his potential he could be anything. and it doesn't hurt our push for a top 4 pick on draft night!
  7. B: McVee, May, Lever HB: Salem, Tommo, Bowey C; Langdon, Oliver, Hunter HF: Petracca, van Rooyen, Neal-Bullen F: Fritsch, Petty, Kossie FOLL: Gawn, Brayshaw, Viney IC: Rivers, Sparrow, Brayshaw, Billings SUB: McAdam I think Rivers will progress to a full time midfielder next year and personally think he we become a great midfielder! last bench spot/sub is anyone's guess
  8. can also look at it in salary terms as Harmes out Billings in
  9. yeh a lot saying different numbers, this week on trade radio most have been saying round that 600k mark, which if we end up paying around the 500k mark for him id be fine with that. 500k is the new 350k
  10. 700 a year is reported at least 650. there is word that Saints are willing to pay some as long as they get a better draft pick in return
  11. In that set up McAdam starts on the bench and becomes to rotation for Fritsch, Petty and JVR. Which when i look at it that way i don't mind. Especially if JVR is going to be our back up ruck. I need to get it into my head that McAdam is now a Dee and i MUST love him now! I WILL love him, just give me time!
  12. So you're dropping ANB?? our best pressure fwd? Thats my point, Chander and Spargo don't play the I50 role, so i doubt McAdam takes that spot.
  13. Agree, but this is what he hasn't been able to do thus far in his career. Maybe everything aligns and he is happy and that's all he needs to go to the next level.
  14. Tackles are 1 part of it, its pressure acts, link up play ect. and he may be more than Fritsch but it won't be by much which is my point.
  15. could work, exactly how Rich won their first flag!
  16. Agree, but i don't see him ahead of those no. Chandler, Spargo and AMW are the three for the last spot. it will be a pressure fwd/high HF role which goody loves. unless they are changing the fwd structure, which after a last few years of conversion and connection issues, could be possible.
  17. But Melksham was only playing because all our key fwds and Fritta were injured. He played outstanding when he wa in and couldn't be dropped. But had Fritta been playing i doubt Melk would have even got an opportunity.
  18. They are both poor defensive fwds, add in JVR and another key Fwd, it leaves you very open on the rebound.
  19. yes, i think Ash Johnson would be very gettable and like him too!
  20. I can see us looking at a small fwd line with both playing. You would hope with what we have paid he is playing round 1. I"m sure he will be, but how long it lasts i dunno. Hopefully I'm eating my words after 20+ games and 40 goals!
  21. I can't see them both in the same team, it's one or the other. Unless we are planning to only play one Key forward
  22. Im thinking McAdam wins the Casey goal kicking
  23. I know what you are saying, i am disagreeing. McLean is an inside midfielder as he showed in the VFL. Just like Dunstan and Hately. Mclean doesn't play midfield in the AFL because his coach doesn't put him there, which is why he should look for a new club and get a run in his best position. I don't believe for a second Dunstan would have come in for Brayshaw btw, but we will never know. I'm purely just saying that McLean is a better option than Hately
  24. yes but you want someone that can play at AFL level if needed. Hately cant and hasn't been able to at 2 clubs. McLean at least played 6 AFL games this year and was Emg for the whole back half of the year so he is around the mark in a midfield much much deeper than Adelaide. Hately got 1 game and wasn't looked at again
