Doggies playing like their is 25 of them on the field. Great to watch

At the top of this thread, I'm reading the concern for rpfc on RUOK day, and I'm thinking how compassionate demonlanders have become. By the time I got to the bottom, reality is well and truly restored.

Given it was a reference to counting, I thought it meant Fingers or Calculator

Open Letter To The Melbourne Football Club
In Harmes Way replied to inanunda's topic in Melbourne Demons
I didn't see anyone write an open letter to the club after we kicked 16 goals in the second half against Gold Coast up there earlier in the season. Fairs fair - sure I went to the game with my boy on the weekend and we were frustrated; but we've been to 7 games this year and that was the first one we dropped out of all the games we saw. Compared to sitting through the QB game a couple of years back when we kicked 3 for the game (and one of those was in the first minute), we've come along an absolute mile and I think it's not inappropriate to absorb the frustration of last weekend and look forward to an exciting 2017. -
Great idea - one of the auction items is the demon army turning up to the game of your choice - we should buy this and have them support GWS at the North v GWS game

Everybody knows you need a frontal lobotomy to be a Melbourne supporter, so I don't think we've got anyone qualified to write about brain surgery (or maybe we do).

Around The Grounds - ROUND 21
In Harmes Way replied to Deemented Are Go!'s topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm REALLY enjoying the fact at the moment that the big 4 Melbourne clubs (Coll, Ess, Rich, Carl) are the worst four performing Melbourne based clubs on the ladder. The only thing that would make this even better is if Hawthorn was the fifth worst... -
GAMEDAY - Round 21 (GROUNDHOG DAY)

Order a seafood entree, complain about 15 mins later of stomach cramps and frequently check your phone in the loos. works a treat -
Maybe it was Hibberd's dad....

Case in point - Oscar kicks a dribbler into the forward line, which is just about as short and flat as you can get, and it leads to a goal.

I'm [censored] off as well with the outcome - but we need Hawthorn to beat North this weekend to keep us in the race (presuming we can beat Port).

Melbourne FC - no passengers today

Let's hope he gets 15 kicks next week.

Roosy was saying in the post match presser that we won't be playing finals, but to my reckoning we're three games out of the finals and North Melbourne in 8th and three games clear of us face Hawthorn, Sydney and GWS in the last three rounds - all tough games. Whilst they're 9% clear of us, three drubbings and I believe we're still a mathematical chance? Or am I missing something. Amazing to be thinking this way at Rnd 20...

Can always count on you WB for a healthy dose of optimism. It's becoming enjoyable again being a Dee's supporter.

If we beat Hawthorn, I will.....

Give a lot of shlt to my condescendingly annoying Hawthorn supporting work colleague. For about the next 6 months -
Good on ya knackers

I liked this line in the AFL news article this arvo: Saturday's clash against the Hawks is shaping as a showcase of the Demons' young talent, with Oliver returning after four weeks in the VFL, winning 37 possessions in his last hit-out with the Casey Scorpions. "It's the first time we'll see Oliver, (Christian) Petracca, (Angus) Brayshaw and Weideman in the same team," Roos said. Nice! MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 20
In Harmes Way replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
As long as Chris Dawes doesn't come out and say something stupid like last time, we could go close.
