  1. I'm wondering which will come first - the answer to this riddle or the end of trade period
  2. You could be Krazy Jaeger O'Smeara
  3. Is it Lance Franklin? Lance - bit bigger than a knife, but could be used for buttering Swan spreads his wings Franklin river dumps into the ocean???
  4. Is it an anagram?
  5. Slot Rockliff in there as well and we'd need to change the rules to have a starting 25. #seriouslynopassengers
  6. I have a 10 year old son who's very happy his favourite player is staying. Love your work Jesse.
  7. I was reflecting on this PD when I woke up this morning. Peter Jackson and Paul Roos need to be remembered here for how solid we are in our first trading period since Roos' departure. If the transition wasn't 100% managed, we'd be seeing some level of discontentment and players wanting out. But not a single player wants to leave (yes we're shopping Dunn to BNE, but I'm not counting that as player driven). I think this fact alone makes us a destination club, and I can't wait to see the improvements to standards we get with the touted inclusions. Job well done, PJ and PR.
  8. This could be a trick - where are you located Riddler? If you are interstate, then the player could be Victorian.
  9. I reckon the answer is Nev Jetta butter wouldn't melt in his mouth we're going to have a sea of experienced backline support next year i can't remember the rest of the riddle, but am I right? i thought moistgoatflaps was a great guess
  10. Mate, when I'm lying in bed and can't sleep, I lie still and think about Brayshaw running through the guts at the G on a sunny afternoon and hitting a leading Hogan laces out. Ive so moved on from that scumbag, his legacy will take us to much higher places.
  11. Ha - thanks Jumbo. It's just clicked what the No T$ no B$ thread means (often wondered, but got started on that thread obviously 3 years too late)
  12. This is exactly why Essendon want this years pick.
  13. I didn't know that picture of me was online
  14. I think it's a Chinese knock off on eBay
  15. You're on fire today Red. Nice work
  16. Whilst I'd rather keep him on the half forward line, a spell in the midfield (inside) might not be a bad thing for him to work on his defensive pressure and to get him tuned into the contest (a la Watts going into the ruck)
  17. I like this strategy - forward loading picks makes us a true destination club quicker, it gets a core team to the point of top 4/deep into finals quicker. If we missed out on a first round pick in two years time rather than this year, I think we'd be a stronger club for it (presuming draft strength is similar year on year)
  18. I nearly got a call up that day, sitting in the crowd, except for three factors - I'd had a couple of beers, I wasn't wearing my Guernsey and I'm smaller than JKH. (Oh, and I can't kick more than 25m on my left)
  19. Now, if the Bears could use their priority pick to get Roos, that might help them significantly. time for another scotch.
  20. Do you want sauce with that?
  21. Great summary, super exciting talent and I can't wait to see the improvement he will bring to the team as he builds up his tank.
  22. Ex leadership player and great clubman. I'll remember his booming torps from full back kickins fondly. Best of luck for your future endeavours Dunny.
