I'd be pretty grumpy if we finished 9th with that lineup and missed the finals. Especially in an 8 team competition.

Completely agree with this DS. His delivery into i50 in the Hawthorn game (for example) was unstoppable. Likewise, his composure and accuracy kicking for goal (winning goal in the GCS game) means to me that he's the guy I want kicking for goal when it truly counts. If we could just work out a way for him to deliver the ball to himself, we'd be hard to beat. -
I reckon it's Jack Watts.

Looking at DA's graphical attempt, I'm not sure how Clubber Lang is going to mark the ball with boxing gloves on, but that said he'd probably still do a better job than Chris Dawes

From the left - Saty (with the beard), BBO, Nasher, Ethan Tremblay, stuie, Pro Dee, Andy (if the process wasn't democratic, maybe you picked yourself), DC, can't pick the last two.

Perhaps Dom was playing basketball with CP5's dog over the break? -
I hope either of the two Essendon boys give a good account of themselves, because if they provide a bit of polish we're going to be seriously good this year

I then did the second quiz and got 8!

Xmas quiz on the mfc website 16/20 (just a pass). I cant believe Robbo led the goal kicking for 4 seasons!

2016 Player Review - # 8 Heritier Lumumba
In Harmes Way replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Pretty forthright words from PJ reported in the age this morning http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/melbourne-demons-on-hunt-for-new-comajor-sponsor-20161214-gtb8mm.html Can't see H back at the club based on these timeframes quoted for resolving the impasse. I had a sneaking suspicion that the club didn't want H at training as his mindset/attitude might distract the others, but I don't get that feeling reading this. Hopefully it does get resolved before year end. -

Melbourne midfield ranked worst in AFL by Champion Data

An article like this should provide some fire in the belly for our guys to prove them all wrong. In a way, this is better result than over inflating their egos by announcing them as the best, and then wondering why they under achieved later on. much happier to see this happen to Collingwood. -

Why don't they bring back the red and blue striped version of the Australian baggy green cricket cap that was around in the 80's? or maybe that's where it should stay...

The Big Story - Max Gawn in 2016
In Harmes Way replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
My boy got his young demon membership in the post today. This year, the pack includes a plastic caricature of Maxy (I'd like to pinch this) and some fan cards of the usual suspects including Maxy. Some useful fan facts from the back of the card: Nickname: Dougy if you weren't a footballer, what would you be: Barista motto that you live your life by: Work like a captain - play like a pirate items that you would take to a deserted island: Plane, soccer ball, iPod -

Yep, again true to your name DisinD! I was only trying to point out that at least the #8 jumper has been worn in anger at training this year. Probably for the last time.
