  1. The league is a sham. But wholly agree - I'd take Gawn in front of Goldie if I had the choice
  2. If you click on your profile name in the top right hand corner go to account settings, under this there's an Email Address link on the left hand side.
  3. I'm mindful that Trenners has basically been given this year to prove himself worthy of another contract. The last thing he'd want to do is come in too early, break down and effectively end his career. I reckon it's great the club are letting him dictate terms - if Trenners plays a half a dozen games this year, and nails them, then he's off and away with another multi year contract and playing his part in a resurgent finals team. I'm happy to wait to see this.
  4. I'd rather petition the footy club to work out a way of winning at Etihad. We're not going to make the finals until we do. Avoiding the venue isn't the answer IMHO.
  5. Tell your wife Betty I always thought she was a bit of alright (much better than Wilma)
  6. Loved this Picket - In doing the maths, I'm guessing one of his uncontested possies wasn't a quality one!
  7. PG, whilst I'd love (not) the trip down memory lane, there's only one flaw in this logic - you haven't dropped Jack Watts 2016 vintage so he has to play in two positions on the ground.
  8. not having a phone at CHF, I'd grab my hammy and limp towards the bench as quickly as possible
  9. Haven't seen the double up in a while now (just [censored] with you Nasher)
  10. Haven't seen the double up in a while now
  11. WJ, crowd was 58,175 last year. I'd expect a slightly better turnout based on (i) this year Anzac day is a public holiday where as it wasn't last year (ii) it was a real spectacle last year which I think should draw a few more in (my Richmond supporting brother in law and his kids included) and (iii) the weather was crap last year; although (iv) Richmond's poor form may keep some at home watching on the telly. I'd reckon low 60K's and a happy ride home on the train.
  12. Me and my boy are making the trip up there for a boys weekend away. If this does happen,we'll just have to cheer even louder.
  13. Maybe I'm loading a gun against myself here, but I think the speed of the rebuild is history - why don't we focus more on where we're going rather than how quickly it's taken us to get to where we are now?
  14. My theory is that the club is trying out a new tactic in managing/dashing the hopes of Demonlanders on injuries as nobody here trusts any timeframes Misson has to offer. Let a waft of 8 weeks out there and then the old 426 doesn't sound so bad. Watch this space.
  15. Is it just me or does this guy have a striking resemblance to big Carl?
  16. The pressure may be internal, but hopefully they deal with it like this.
  17. The Essendon game should serve as a reminder to the guys that a four quarter effort is required every week, or we'll get done. I'm confident they're both in form as a team and playing for each other (loved Viney and Kent having a go at Toovey after he dumped Tyson in the 4th quarter as he kicked the goal). The only thing they need to be is switched on....I'm sure a valuable lesson was learned in Round 2.
  18. KJ, you can always relocate at half time and sit with the demon army behind the punt Rd goals for a half to mix it up a bit
  19. I've just watched the replay and I'd have to say that as much as I love Brayshaw, I don't think he had that good a game. Not sure he's 100% at the minute and wouldn't be surprised if he's dropped. Whilst Bugg had some good numbers, I thought he butchered a couple as well - these would be the two changes I'd make for Vince and Garlett
  20. I'm no mathematical genius, but I'd reckon based on this that if we put Ron Barassi into the guts, then we could play a grand final this year?
  21. Given we've got so few injuries (touch wood), I reckon this thread should focus on who's our best 22 and how do we get from our side on the weekend to the best 22 without disrupting the team. We're all aligned that anyone dropped from the weekend is rough; but ultimately see half a dozen possible changes that could make us better. If we're going to do well in a difficult 2nd half of the season draw, we need to have a gelled team playing well together asap.
