  1. As evidenced by the dented brick in his rucksack at the pre Xmas camp that hit him in the scone
  2. I'm not sure how a young man that gets done drink driving and has fitness base issues gets two JLT games ahead of Jack Watts. [censored] me, Jack must be off the pace significantly. this said, I'm a huge fan of Clearance. Apologies for the derail.
  3. The journo should have quit while he was ahead - Christian Petracca IS a jet. no further analysis required
  4. Id missed the news this was an alternative clash strip, so was concerned this had actually become our new home strip, same as the girls. Delighted if it's the "new white" clash strip has the added benefit for the kids in that there's an acre of room for players signatures on the back...
  5. I'd argue hitting somebody laces out in the middle of their back is better than kicking it over their head and out on the full...
  6. I reckon if we got Target as a sponsor, it might have the added benefit of assisting T Mac with his kicking
  7. Even though it's still preseason, isn't it great we're reviewing a game against another team where the sentiment is generally positive (as much as it can be for 'landers).
  8. Cameron Bruce at 64 is pretty bloody good
  9. He wouldn't want to have said Trunk Canal too quickly - would have had the boys in fits of laughter.
  10. It must be confusing for the scoreboard team as both teams are Visitors...
  11. The weight of 50+ years of expectation from premiership drought will be easier lifted with two captains raising the cup. Great move. Congrats Jack Viney on the promotion, and well done chunk on maturely accepting you are an even greater leader by not feeling like you've got to go it alone.
  12. jonathan Brown - fearless. Would have loved him at CHF for us, roaming around the forward line with Neiter.
  13. I can see him getting a few more whacks in the back of the head this year a la Rance last year, as more defenders get frustrated with our multi pronged attack and Jack in particular
  14. To be fair BBP, if you take the scoreboard out of the equation he's actually right. We won every aspect of the West Coast game (except the scoreboard), and the second half against Port was as ugly a performance which still delivered 4 points as you'll see (but I'll take it).
  15. Interesting observation this - perhaps these guys truly believe and espouse the virtues that a champion team can beat a team of champions given their background. might be why Buckley is struggling to get the best out of his team (long may it continue)
  16. Maybe it's Steven Febey having another crack?
  17. We're in good hands. i love this footy club (again)
  18. Not sure this means he's rucking - maybe he's delivering the water bottles after a goal is kicked Hope not, I like his pack marking
  19. This photo is definitely from this year - Roos is listed as a visitor.
  20. I'd be pretty grumpy if we finished 9th with that lineup and missed the finals. Especially in an 8 team competition.
  21. Completely agree with this DS. His delivery into i50 in the Hawthorn game (for example) was unstoppable. Likewise, his composure and accuracy kicking for goal (winning goal in the GCS game) means to me that he's the guy I want kicking for goal when it truly counts. If we could just work out a way for him to deliver the ball to himself, we'd be hard to beat.
  22. Looking at DA's graphical attempt, I'm not sure how Clubber Lang is going to mark the ball with boxing gloves on, but that said he'd probably still do a better job than Chris Dawes
