POSTGAME: Rd17 vs Bulldogs
I agree with a lot of what has been mentioned on here But I believe that we lost it at the Selection Table, if we had put in Baker, Corey Wagner, JKH and Maynard in Lieu of Hannam, Neville, Dunkley and ANB it could have been a much different result....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are due for a Rebuild.
we need a mini re-build to bolster the team, we almost have the Back line covered and gave up a lot to get it done, we need a fast outside mid that can pick out a team mate also another inside mid with a bit of size and last but not least a tall marking forward and another crumbing forward that knows where the big sticks are. No doubt losing a top forward in Hogan has really de-railed a critical component in our re-build.

POSTMATCH: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
I agree dee-tox instead of handballing into the ground at the feet of our team mates we need someone that is prepared to run with the ball and hit up targets, it was so bad I was wondering how are they going to mess this up when we were totally in the clear and yet we still stuffed it up.......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Agreed Sisso watching him up close he has that bit of class that we have been missing since Frawley bailed on us and a powerful unit at that. What a pick up.

ANB Close to Re-Signing?
A very solid foot soldier plays team first footy and if he can overcome this attack of the fumbles can be very damaging up forward. Very happy to keep him at the Dee's................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POSTGAME: Rd 14 vs Fremantle
As the coach said from the 10 minute mark of the 2nd Qtr we were right in the game and it was a bit like an arm wrestle, goal for goal and apart from some poor umpiring decisions we gradually wore then down and player confidence grew until we really got on top of them, they did not register a score in the last 15 minutes of the game. It was hard to watch during the first half, very cold and lots of mistakes and turn overs but the boys kept going in hard and it was a physically hard game all day. By half time I had forgotten about the bleak conditions and I went home hoarse and happy with my son in law. Go Dee's...!!!

Mid-season Coaching Revamp
The changes in the FD demonstrate that the Club is listening to the feed back from members and all critics but more importantly also actively seeking feedback from Players and the entire coaching team. No doubt that there will be further changes at the end of year. Most on here appear to like the biggest change and that is getting Twig back into the senior coaching group, however, I wouldn't be writing McCartney out of the picture, his strength is in player development and that is where his skills should be focused with our younger coaching group to get the best out of our entire playing group. Great time to ring the changes and I, like most on this site will be looking forward to a significant improvement in player performance in the second half of 2019.
