Is Tom McDonald tradable at the end of 2016?
DeeZone replied to Adam The God's topic in Melbourne Demons
I would be looking for a second tall to complement TMac rather than trading him, he is a durable type player that doesn't seem to have to many hang up's and still young enough to modify, we would have leaked a lot more goals this year without his strong marking in the back half. I say keep him sign him and continue to improve him.- 176 replies

I think Deestroy nailed it can't stand any of them lol!! -
Thanks KC and all the other posters out at Casey really enjoying the commentary - Go Scorps!!

Thanks KC & Hells Bells, really appreciate every bit of info and updates on Casey. I agree we have come a long way over the past two and a bit years. - Go Scorps!!
-
Great to hear Roosy acknowledge ANB for his efforts at Casey, lets hope that he can bring that form into the game tomorrow - Go Dees!!

Max is a real revelation, so cool and witty, sitting in amongst footy royalty and looking so comfortable. Good on you Max!!

Love this kid, great news for him and MFC - Go Dee's

Can't help but love the kid!!

We need a strong mobile KPB which I thought was glaringly obvious on Sunday!!

Tom McDonald needs to take a good hard look at himself.

Come on Tom get on board!!! -
I'm with you Barney and Old Dee, the Diamond looked OK when Kingy was explaining it and it works well when we win the centre bounce BUT we look hopelessly exposed when we turn it over which we do on a regular basis. I know that we are all impatient for that consistent and reliable team effort that will win us a number of games on the trot but the reality is that we are the most inexperienced team in the league at the moment and we need to continue to get games into these kids, we have the talent to be seriously good in the near future barring injury.
-
Well summed up Deespicable, however, I would like to see ANB, Dunn and one other to come into the side this week a couple of our youngsters look like they could do with a rest!!

I have to agree with PG although it was a tough game to watch I thought their defense was far superior to ours and they moved the ball so well going forward once we had coughed it up zig-zagging our way forward, I thought that we could have been a couple of goals closer had it not been for their ability to throw the ball so accurately along with an ability to milk the odd free kick. Every one on our side of the ground could see the throw's bar the 3 in Green, I found some of the decisions quite bewildering. Umpires with no feel for the game add nothing to the game. I walked away from the game feeling a bit hollow but at the same time begrudgingly envious of the Doggies skills and the realization that we are still some way behind them. We really must get a bit more height into our back line and hold our marks. - Go Dee's

Hmmnnn I hadn't really noticed him that much, better keep a sharper look out for him??
-
We can't afford to lose him but can we afford to keep him, with him we could be genuine contenders in the next couple of years but we need to continue to improve our win - loss ratio to give us the impetus to hold the group together. I would hate to see our group picked off one by one because we failed to reach our full potential. Jesse find a great Melbourne girl, settle down and STAY!!! All non Melbourne supporters and commentators are stirring the pot, I get it every day at work it is cruelty and malice all rolled in one. The Club have to find a way to keep him.

We need to start fast and finish strong, we will need to out tackle them and apply extreme pressure for four quarters. The Dee's are good enough if they are switched on like they were last week. We now have the cattle (if inexperienced) and I haven't felt so confidant for a long, long time and I agree with a number of previous posters, it is all "above the shoulders" now. GO DEE'S!!!!

Great to see such spirit, determination and love for the club, well done Jack let's hope his team mates follow suite!!!

I watched the second half again tonight, can't quite believe it, I remember when the game ended on Saturday I just felt so deliriously happy, we soared like an Eagle. The Scorp's were quite brilliant as well yesterday, what a weekend for us mad Dee's supporters.
-
Another great story for the MFC, well done James, well done development Team.

I do get your point Junior, I think that everyone who attended that game would have felt the same frustrations as you about our inability to change the way that we were playing, I saw the same sort of frustration on the coaches faces whilst watching the replay so what is the answer?
-
I agree with a lot of what is posted on this site, some more eloquent than others and some a lot funnier than others but I think deep down we all knew that the Saints game was a Danger game for the Dee's, the difference now from the past is that we are all expecting to win every game that we go into and that is a bit of a dilemma as we all soar when we win and we plumb the depths when we lose. Being a Demon over the past 10 years has really been "HELL". The transition in game plans between total defense and total attack will take a bit of time but we now have the players on our list and we are all impatient for them to reach maturity and their full potential and in the mean time we continue to bang our heads against the Wall.
-
I could not agree more CF, however, the saints aren't renowned for their defence but they managed to run it out of our forward line on 30 + occasions yesterday and with their own clearances on top of this it became a bit of an avalanche and score fest for them, I think that we leaked like a sieve forward and back!!

Thanks BRFE & KC greatly appreciated a good win at Windy Hill, take that any day. Looks like we have 4-6 players that could come into the team if coaches want to reward some effort and rest a couple of the kids or non performers.
