2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
The concern is that the AFL 'formula' and the particulars of an individual's contract are not made public. The league does not disclose the specific reasons for why they award a particular band of compensation. If it were purely mathematical and transparent, then there would be no need for clubs to lobby the league like Rawlings is.

CASEY: Rd 21 vs Carlton VFL
Really do appreciate the updates from everyone but I am so confused about what’s going on!

CASEY: Rd 21 vs Carlton VFL
A change needs to be made next week in our forward line; Schache or TMac needs to come in. It may be too big an ask for McDonald to play seniors after such a long break, but if one of them can stand up today, they simply must get a run next week to give them team some continuity leading into finals.

Very sad news. Great player to watch.

Would have missed Howes as well (who I have some high hopes for). Would have been a huge investment to match Pick 5 for a 'project player'.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
We’ve been keen on Mitch Georgiades since his draft year…

Liam Henry
Hopefully another player that Fremantle has low-balled and they’ve decided to leave. We were very keen but maybe his price has risen too high.

Dylan Stephens
Played the game of his life against us last year, so our coaches would have got a good look at him. Might enjoy the extra space on the wings at the G…

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Such is the saturation of AFL media, by the time we hit draft night(s) this will be touted as a super draft. Always is. Every media pundit needs to create content singing the praises of every star in the fist 25 picks and they’re always trying to outdo each other.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
If memory serves correctly we had Duursma training with us over the preseason. Had track watchers very excited by his performances in match sims.

PREGAME: Rd 18 vs Brisbane
I have no problem with Grundy being rested. We should have been resting senior players throughout 2022 and it cost us big time on September. Max has had plenty of weeks off this year and needs a proper run. If we’re rewarding consistent form, Schache should come in to play second ruck/forward.

Breaking: Stuart Dew gone
Gold Coast’s issues run so much deeper than the coach and the playing list. They have never established a professional footballing culture and high performance environment. The initial administrators and senior players failed to establish and maintain it. Whilst GWS is struggling to attract supporters, their culture has always been strong. Need experienced leadership to turn the place upside down, similar to Jackson and Roos at the Dees.

Media Bias - What can we do?
The commentators try to sell a narrative to keep the audience engaged. As we’re a consistently strong team now, they pump up the underdog to keep people tuned in. They’ll say the losing team is still in it up until the final siren.

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs St. Kilda
Perry’s looking more comfortable this week and is strong overhead. Jordan is playing with confidence and has had some good run and carry plays. Viney is getting the attention usually reserved for Clarry and Trac. May and Lever very strong. Brown providing a strong option but needs to dig a litter deeper to cover stkilda’s defensive switch. Langdon running into some form. Melksham is dynamic and will hold his spot in the team.

Death Riding 190
Never been one for kicking a team whilst they're down but the 1994 Preliminary Final broke my heart as a kid and the 2018 Prelim Final broke it again as an adult. Kick away Lions!

Pretty close the mark with the exception of Rivers - thought he was good.
