Media Bias - What can we do?
The commentators try to sell a narrative to keep the audience engaged. As we’re a consistently strong team now, they pump up the underdog to keep people tuned in. They’ll say the losing team is still in it up until the final siren.

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs St. Kilda
Perry’s looking more comfortable this week and is strong overhead. Jordan is playing with confidence and has had some good run and carry plays. Viney is getting the attention usually reserved for Clarry and Trac. May and Lever very strong. Brown providing a strong option but needs to dig a litter deeper to cover stkilda’s defensive switch. Langdon running into some form. Melksham is dynamic and will hold his spot in the team.

Death Riding 190
Never been one for kicking a team whilst they're down but the 1994 Preliminary Final broke my heart as a kid and the 2018 Prelim Final broke it again as an adult. Kick away Lions!

My 3 word player analysis V GWS
Pretty close the mark with the exception of Rivers - thought he was good.

Byron
Imagine the personality traits that would lead a person to be a police officer, politician, real estate agent and an AFL player agent...

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Criminally underrated and flying under the radar again with 27 goals from 12 matches.

NON-MFC: Rd 13 2023
They should have got both the King brothers that draft. They’ve done pretty well with the Rankine pick the second time around though - Humphrey is a gun.

Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
I was hoping he might have got a look-in last weekend - even as the sub. Need some youth and energy in the team.

Sestan & Verrall Re-Sign
On paper, yes. But psychologically, it’s be a huge boost for the two kids, and we need to remember how young these fellas are. To be told they’re not going to be playing seniors this year, but we have faith in you, would be a huge boost for their confidence.

This REALLY concerns me
Possibly having their insurance paying for treatment rather than Paddy or the club being out of pocket..?

The Run Home
We’re not as good as we thought we were, but we are nowhere near as bad as some here say we are. I’d be hoping for at least nine more wins leading into finals. I like Geelong’s recent statements and the same should apply to us: “We’re not playing the way we’d like to play right now; we just need to be right in time for the finals.’

Robbo is right on the money
All fair enough. We are unbeaten on the mcg so I’m hoping that it’s simply a case of struggling away from our fortress…

Dees Potential Draft Play to Secure Pick #1
Reid is an inciting proposition, but we can’t sell the farm to get him. I have a feeling the list may need a little overhaul/refresh at the end of the season.
- Will you BOO Luke Jackson this weekend?

TRAINING: Monday 22nd May, 2023
There may be some passing interest in whether Clayton Oliver is training...

David King First Crack
I agreed with most of what King said, with the exception of Steven May. I don’t think we want him running out of position just for some push and shove. The on ballers, who would have been directly involved in the next stoppage, should have helped him out (on numerous occasions).

Neville Jetta
Exactly the sort of person we’d want at the club, in any capacity. I like when players experience different clubs, coaching, administrations and cultures, but I hope he eventually brings all of that back to the Dees.

Farewell James Harmes
I'm not saying I want to know what they are, I'm suggesting that before we refer to him as a fringe player who we can trade away at year's end, we should consider there may be bigger reasons why he's not at his best this year. Harmes when happy, healthy and in form is a walk up to our best 22.
