Very sad news RIP.... I was born in 64 so never witnessed the greats of our golden era & sadly our surviving premiership players are getting smaller in numbers each year!

5 wins vs 12-13 to play finals..look at the stats deeper we are getting smashed on the outside. Skill level deplorable. Saints may win 11 games after sacking their coach & they are miles away from a finals team We are planets away from playing finals!

If history suggest anything we will burn another early pick along with the other 50 we've had! Whats even more dumb is watching the Hawks not getting any early picks, haven't bottom out & then rebuilding through smart drafting & no doubt will win another flag before us again.

This occurred for the 2018 pre season & they end up playing finals & not sure how it relates to 2019 pre season???

Look at the lions & the players they have recruited vs ours inc their coach ex hawk under Clarko.... I fear Goody Is too one dimension & has a flawed game plan & hasn’t adapted to 6,6,6. I look at lions list all quick zippy & energy in their fwd line vs our lumbering & Garlett looks disinterested. We have payed overs for Lever & May who will struggle to play each week. Wonderful football club the mFC is which is stating to get a bad smell of imploding, coach sacking & board upheaval.. so what has changed? It hurts but I actually hate this club .. just a miserable footy club who are pretenders & masquerade in thinking they can be successful, ruin footy players careers. Not worth the emotional investment anymore!

The numbers look very poor of key stats .. as poor prior to Roos taking over .. Goodwin has to own this disgraceful fall from prelim to basically last .. actually all our leaders should & majority should leave our footy club. Good luck wanting another 50k members in 2020 ..

Get them to watch Hawks game from last night! A club that finds away to reinvent itself & find players who can follow the game plan. A club that doesn’t sit on past glories & could be excused so as they won 3 flags in a row less than 5 years ago.

Good luck signing 50k in 2020 after 2019 disastrous season! Members burnt too many times .. considering a what & see as I’ve renewed each year for the last 20+ ...about time this club get things right!

I’ve supported Melb since early 70s & a member 20year+ I follow the least successful club in the last 50+ years! I’m a sucker for punishment!

They have & he’s stated we are not executing well , connecting between forwards & mids, backs & mids.. basically said we have spuds playing
