Discussion more around the the season draw/fixture ... I’m sorry but finishing top 4 should not be on the back of 14 wins against bottom 8 sides ... Comp needs to be playing each other once to remove gifting wins against poor sides twice vs other sides playing higher placed sides more times.

WC had 6 wins against teams in the top 8 vs Pies 1! Tell me something is not right with comp???

Worthy winners correct .... Afl draw is not!

They can say what they want about how great they are .. Reality is their 14 wins were against bottom 8 sides. 1 win against the Dees.. This highlights the shortcomings of the draw & infact can reward mediocrity. They obviously have peaked during the finals to make it thru to the Gf with a chance of winning the flag .

Whats driving all this as only a few weeks ago Goody was stating how Hogan is very Happy etc.....

Why hasn't the club come out with any statement either way???

Has the MFC confirmed or denied any of this?

The draw is a disgrace & until you play each other twice or once you will never have a fair comp .. pies got top 4 with 14 wins against bottom 8 teams & 1 win against us in the 8... What would the ladder look if teams only played once?

Culture of losing continues with our club ... number of senior players should quit or be moved on ...the weekend continues to be soured by port performance...

I know Mcgis the home of all GFs but from a purest of an even comp & rewarding teams who finish & win finals .. WC finished higher & beat the Pies in a final & yet playing at Pies home ground

They have clicked at the right time .. 14 wins with 13 against bottom 8 sides & get top 4 which questions the afl fixturing.. would like to see ladder positions if only they payed each once

Thats 7 years since last GF in 2011........

Was a stinker & all teams have them in finals.. Just hope they don't become a side like the 88 & 2000 GF sides and hang around finals afterwards.... This is the hoodoo that needs to be broken!

Wow mate we are all shattered but got beaten by a better team with s more advanced list ... that’s the challenge to come back & improve . But to basically give up on them is absurd!

Compare that to WC list

It hurts but reality is 2013 2x wins & club on its knees vs 2018 16 wins inc 2 finals wins, young list with improvement

Had another 21 players who were all well beaten ... very harsh & like most of them there worst game all year since the hawks game early on .. reality is they beat 4 top 8 sides in a row inc 2x finals & lost to the 2nd team on the ladder who are on fire

Need to improve going into our fwd 50 with turnovers resulting in Hawks counter attacking & luckily they messed it up..... We rush it in too quickly & need to lower the eyes & find targets.... Good problem to have & may take another season to iron this out.

Lots of mental issues with this group..... Leak too many goals & would get smashed against top teams.... These are the questions which Goodwin needs to answer.... Another missed opportunity & as much as the past dosent matter for Goody it continues to raise its ugly head!

The talk on a trade Petracca or Oliver for Lever is ridiculous & dumb! These young guns are part of our future & would be pointless after securing them from early picks.

Just funny how things could work out...We got Tyson, Salem & Hunt from this deal so was a win on both teams

Imagine that... We gave up our pick 2 to GWS in 2013 who picked Josh Kelly & we will need to pay overs to get him now...

Honestly if he leaves for home factors may as well desolve the draft as its a joke.. Completely makes a mockery of it as it was designed for clubs to recruit & build a list.. Not develope players so clubs like freo, swans etc can walk in & get a ready made gun! Keep on saying at least the Epl et can sell players which allows them to go & buy a bunch of players ..

Expectations too high for kpp in his second year of footy!

End of this season not that bad as stated in other posts mgr wants to maximise his value... But afl just can't sit back & have a so called equalisation comp with early picks only to see them leave to a stronger club after hes been developed! People bag the English premier league but smaller clubs can develop players & sell them which allows them to buy other players to strengthen their squads etc early draft picks don't compensate & are always risky as they may fail..
