Sick off hearing good effort ... we are poor footy club with a suspect game plan or players just can execute it!

So after yet another rebuild started by Roos in 2014 & 6 seasons later we are sitting bottom 4. Players like Petracca & Brayshaw have gone backwards, we can't take a mark inside 50 or even contest & the ball just rebounds back. Fed up with the excuses & understand injuries have been tough but good teams find a way. Who will be held accountable for yet another disastrous season & yet the club expects its suffering members to hang in there & watch another rebuild unravel. Its number 3 since 2008 & who knows how many since 64!

Bottom line we have VFL based players who can't kick along with Petracca who's head is over inflated & needs a reality check.

We are a loser club & have been for 55 years.....

99.999% of my family & friends have seen a flag in their life! Myself & the my Saints mate will never see one!

Don't Have Forwards who can take marks or hold the ball in, thats why ball coming back at so quickly. How many marks have dogs defenders taken? Forwards not leading well hence our mids are kicking too poor areas.

Players watch & learn how strong leadership helps to win games Coaches watch how playing both ways is done we are bunch of down hill skiers

Whilst great to get behind their teammates after a win, but to talk it up as if they are playing great footy perhaps sums up we’re we are at.

We are poor football club that continues to be so fragile with a lack of mental toughness when it’s needed, driven by poor leadership & culture. Down hill skiers & only want to play one way. Goodwin has unwound defence what Roos instilled. We had 15 goals kicked against a bottom team & have been leaking goals all season. Understand injuries but enough of the excuses as the top sides are faced with injuries & yet find a way! If Macca has done a knee... I reckon the club needs a priest to bless the club & perform an exorcism as we must be cursed with all these injuries

Not sure been asking this question since the 70s...but whats another decade of misery when 5 have already gone....

The misery continues for the members & supporters! when will Bartlett & Pert come out along with all the coaches & apologise for the pathetic, deplorable season & another false dawn!

Pessimism part & parcel of a MFC member/supporter & posts like these are normal.... The ultimate embarrassment for the MFC would be to finish last after a prelim appearance & yet hold another record!

That’s the thing .. a win does matter as it creates a winning culture, which this club has lacked the best part of 50+ years . It’s a disgrace how this team had fallen in a heap once again..

We are club full of excuses,,, bottom line tigers & gws have had long in Look at the 5 clubs with most injuries... tigers, gws still in the top 8 with Swans starting to win more... All 3 have stronger deeper lists along with stronger cultures ... Melb & Saints both hold longest premiership droughts & poor cultures .., enough said

Totally agree have followed the club since the 70s & they can’t sustain success & build on it .. somehow find a way to fall off the cliff! From prelim to bottom 4 is a disgrace & whilst injuries have been cruel it goes deeper than that with culture, leadership , development & recruiting . I’m afraid if this continues into 2020 goody want last & club will implode once again in its miserable 55 yrs of failure

Well said ..I think 55yrs of failures is about the tipping point , I think 50 years of watching this club go over the cliff after tasting success for 5 mins is the tipping point we’re as a paid up member for 20+ years we are fed up!

Watch us lose to Carlton .. the script of disaster is unfolding for 2019 from prelim to wooden spoon! Only the mfc could manufacture this!
