We need stability full stop from what’s occurred since 21, let’s hope Smith & Guerra provide clear comms and direction regarding Caulfield. Any updates on Waverley as a temporary base as we need the whole club under 1 roof!

I don’t think Trac & Oliver were the difference, the flip flop of game plans by Goodwin which started in 24 & switched back to the 21-23 version ( by his own admission) then to a 25 reinforced he had no answers!

No issue with having a plan after after footy has finished, just seems so clinical, but hey it’s become a business totally, my opinion he’s decision wasn’t just based on Football..

Thanks for explaining this, it’s interesting he withdrew from his footy commercial arrangements and changed management… just seems that he’s decisions are all commercially driven, he’s interview saying he had a brief chat with King reinforces was already checked out and on face value showed a lack of respect towards King.

Someone posted he requested this from the club and we said no, which is why he was seeking a trade

I don’t understand how can a playing contract be structured to help him with his commercial deals.. would this not be then be calculated into the salary cap etc etc

I still think Allan Richardson needed to go, dealing with player behaviours in particular Oliver, playing him when he missed preseason was culture breaking, the handling of Trac injury throughout miss communication.

Since 21 our trading in exp talent has been poor yet we lost talent By his own words Goodwin said it was right to sack him, couldn’t define their next purpose, his protection of Oliver and dealing with players behaviour goes to the core of it all & why Trac is gone. 2 years too late on Oliver…

There are a number of experienced players available to help with the younger players eg Tom Mitchell to help with the young mids
