Reality Simon we leak too many goals too easily & have been doing since last year .. Prelim final great example.. so what if we have more inside 50s when the other side kicks 20 goals ..need to play both ways which is what Roos implemented & now appears to be thrown out the window

3 of the 4 prelim teams lost 1st game, lot of our top players clearly are not @ afl match fitness, reality is injuries & fitness have played a key role in our preparation. Certainly may derail our season but that’s footy & part of the jinx of the MfC .. will the footy gods ever [censored] shine on this club?

One needs to question our fitness people & coach wtf are we playing players that are clearly underdone? Let’s hope this isn’t another season of failure! As a long mfc member could be history repeating its self!

Whilst some risks are there as we saw with Omera who continues to have knee & Scully ankle .. I can just see them winning a flag before we do. hate them yes as mental scares from 87 prelim & 88 gf

Whilst all this is happening the hawks have secured our former number 1, along with Wingard ... add another early pick in Omera & Mitchel .. a team that’s won 3 flags & finished top 4 this year

Contracts mean nothing .... AFL is a mess with this one .. you sign u stay ffs .. commitment both ends not that hard., only extreme circumstances should be allowed.. I accept Hogan wanting for fsmily reasons since his dad died but you hear Scully who is contracted until 2021 it’s a disgrace

Whole afl trade system & early picks, free trade etc is flawed. Just become like the epl etc buy & sell players .. at least when clubs lose a good striker they get paid his worth & then the club can buy other players to fill their gaps in their list .. Afl want equalisation with players wanting to move whenever & club of choice .. can’t have both!

Not sure why this has played out so publicly?? Stop the games & the impact on the player welfare.. either freo agree from day 1 to an early pick or don’t waste our time & move on ...
