Listen to what Roosy said.... The Gap between Playing @ afl std vs U18 is so huge! The mental toughness required & development to play at this std is huge & for them to be guns is another huge step! Only clubs that have great environments with development & culture seem to always get kids turning into good afl players... Hence Hawks , cats & swans you see young players doing so well... So please take a step back & ask is our club creating the environment for the young talent to develop???

Honestly... The kid is in his 1st season & some of the posts wanting the kid to be a ball magnet match winner etc... FFS ! Young picks take 2-4 yrs to develop & play @ the highest level... It's the club responsibility to create an environment of development & culture to ensure these kids can be developed.... Which our club has been terrible at! Just ridiculous comments.... These questions need to be aimed @ seasoned players.... Salem has shown class & will become a great player under the correct environment!

Another rebuild is needed....we just simply dont have class... Premiership lists have 6-9 guns , strong culture, leadership. Roos will need to build the list & unfortunately want see the fruits of his labour...

Yes Roosy is accountable for the teams performance.....but ffs he inherited a train wreck, damaged goods & clearly players who are not afl standard... Look @ the players he brought in Tyson, salem, vince all doing well... Dunn playing great.... When will the players take responsibility for their pathetic efforts??? Our list reflects the diabolical recruiting,culture & development which occurred since 08.... Roos will flush out the ones which a clearly not afl standard & the culture will change...

These would be non negotiable by Roos & should drop/ sack & turn over the list until he gets the right players! Don't want hear any excuses by members etc... It takes strong culture & leadership to ensure the playing group is switched on from the first bounce.... We are expecting way too much from players such as Tyson, Salem & Viney to dominate with les than 50 games between them... Need to look at players who have played 100 games & yet continue to make dumb decisions!

So happy for the players.... Just 12mths ago they were embarrassed by 145pt loss! The club was going nowhere & most of the players wanted out! How times have changed.... Players love the coach & coach believes in them!

We are not in the 70s or 80s were teams who have the best forwards win... If you kick the ball long teams will just get numbers in the back line & bring it straight back! If you maintain possession & execute correct passing you will score! Stop living in the past!

I think whilst 3 goals is not great... Using pathetic is very harsh... When you consider were our club has come from less than 12mths ago.... You remember 100pt floggings! Players wanting to leave....Look at the positives long term..... We have drafted well with Tyson/Salem ... Players like pedderson & watts playing better! Players are wanting to stay as development & culture occurring! The game plan if executed correctly & stop the turnovers will result in wins.... Listen to Bomber Thompson on 360 saying Roos is teaching the players on how to win finals football! Perspective needed here... A train wreck is not fixed over nite!

Roos is teaching them to play both ways! He stated in his presser it may take 2-3 preseasons to get the fitness & culture right to play both ways. Watts shows no aggression, hunger, tackling ability. All non negotiable and needs time at Casey around 4 weeks... Make him earn his spot! If not trade him!

Current training facilities best the MFC ever had... PJ was asked some question & said I don't think walking over the bridge to admin office in 5 minutes is to blame for the playing performance over the last 7 yrs! Tell that to Daniher teams... 6 final series, 2 prelims & GF.... At junction oval, pre seasons spread over 3 venues, no goal posts etc...

I think Roos & co would be installing a winning culture & setting high standards ... Let's not forget what tanking did to the culture & player exodus!

missed the point totally! What do his finances got to do with his health issues??? I think you need to read some of the posts on the MFC FB site, bagging Mitch etc... Makes me wonder about the quality of members!
