I would be tempted to keep the same side with the only inclusion being Garlett. We were only short by a bit of luck and a reasonable umpiring decision. The guys fought back extremely well and they should all be hurting and wanting to make amends next week.

I find it interesting that Eddie easily takes the stance of "I Know Nothing", its in the AFL's court Blah Blah Blah. Does he he not talk to his CEO who recently spoke out about the massive problem of illict drugs in footy recently. Was that really about his club? Coincidence??? Crystal balling ?? As least Sharapova has stood up and taken responsibility, something that Hird has done so well!! As far as pre 1 January 2016 she has no case to answer to because she was working within the guidelines. If not on the banned list no problem. What I find Hird to understand is with all the support around her the addition to the banned list was not picked up. A mistake?? The most exciting player I have ever seen in the Red and Blue and I believe he would have been the all time best for the MFC. Better than Carey? Injury free I would like to think so, only if he had the chance to shake that mantle. He was exciting to watch and had that X-factor. Agree totally ProDee. There is going to be a bigger bucket of bickies with the new TV rights deal and it would not be good advice to sign a new contract without knowing the full details of the next CBA. Also if he doubles his goal output in 2016 it will only enhance his bank balance when we resign him for the next 5 to 10 ten years.

AFLPA press conference a very poor response to this decision. Even suggesting the AFL should divorce itself from WADA and the players should have come to the them if concerned. Well they didn't. Wonder how pro active the association was before this, in ensuring that their members understood their responsibilities in regards to the code. My heart goes out to these Essendon players for they have been poorly lead on a number of levels.

What is the upside for Kennedy? We need guys with good disposal skills, skills and more skills and if he lacks in this area we should not be even considering him, we have had enough of these sort of players clogging our list for years.

Hopefully his rehab from the ankle injury will not eat into his preseason training. I am looking forward to seeing a fitter Vandenberg and the impact he will have in 2016.

A lot of posters want to trade out jack watts but I cannot see it happening unless we give him way for nothing. Just cannot see another team being interested in him. It's his 7th year and he still has not made a position his own and is he a player that can help them take the next step up the ladder. He has just been a contributor in a average bottom six. Maybe being a bit harsh on jack, but just cannot see his clear value to anyone else.

Colin hasn't performed well for what seems a long time, which seems to be par for course for a lot of MFC players in recent years. He is coming out of contract, Manager shopping him around, obviously wants more $. My question would be, Is it worth paying an underperformer in a side that is obvious the worst team in the history of the club more money?

Maybe its a time to consider a name change away from the Demons. Its obviously a bridge too far for our players to understand how a Demon should play. How about a return to the Fuchsias or is that an insult to the plant world?
