Received a message from a good source in Perth that West Coast have come to an agreement with North to trade pick 1. Full details of the trade weren't specified, but it seems logical given that North have picks 2 and 3. What doesn't seem logical is our upgrade from pick 14 to 11. It was never going to be a deal breaker in getting pick 1, so something else must be on the cards.

You are massively over valuing Grundy. Even with pick swaps included with Grundy, pick 11 will never be on the table. We want him out of the club, so there'll be no hardball. A pick around the mark for what we paid is what we can expect back in return.

Spargo is not a high pressure forward and doesn't have the goal scoring potential of Billings. When in form, the ceiling of Billings compared to Spargo is like chalk and cheese.
