NON-MFC: Round 7

I’ve always wondered if Collingwood supply the huge corporate box for Peter Daicos to sit in every week? Every other time I see family at the footy they are sitting in the stand.

how did we lose to the bombers. they're hopeless

Gee pendlebury is all class. Calm, composed & doesn't waste the ball.

So in 3 quarters essendon only have 5 goals.

How on earth did we lose to them? My god

Or if you're marcus ashcroft you choose to stand up the top at the highest part of the stand possible.

They probably give it to him to keep him happy after nick not winning the best & fairest last year

Look at the pressure Pies apply and there is the answer.

We were off that day and our pressure was down and fumbling up,

Where was this fumbling & stupid handpasses against us.

1 win in 20 is appalling

Brad Scott needs to be shown the door.

Ben McKay has got to be one of the worst AFL footballers who gets a consistent game.

Corporate boxes are overrated. Whenever I am in one I always find myself in the stand by the end of the game.

I'm watching Collingwood dominate & I don't even care that they'll win.

I think because we're going well that I couldn't care.

Or maybe I'm secretly happy that the bombers fans will get a reality check

Yeah, I hate them. I just think it’s interesting that Peter won’t sit in the stand, and I’d love to know the machinations of how it all came to be.

I’m still salty we lost to them tbh. If we had lost by 2-3 goals I could cop because they were pretty good and desperate on the day, but to lose by 7 goals to this Essendon side is/was utter dross.

I hope the Pies pile it on and give them as big a defeat as possible.

I’m so so glad Ben Mckay doesn’t play for us. He’s infuriating.

39 disposals and 16 score involvements for scott pendelbury

what a player he has been

Noooo!!! Keep him there for many more years, please.

42 now and still 7 minutes to play.

He could go on again next year.

Pendlebury just does not waste a possession.

I hope the media get stuck into essendon again & show some highlights of lazy play by some of their players.

This is a shellacking

Pies have Hawks Cats Away and Swans Away next 3

that’ll fix em

I sincerely hope we get a shot at redemption and are drawn to play Essendon 17 games from today.

Collingwood fans think this will be pendles last Anzac game.

He can definitely go on for longer. Age shouldn't matter.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
