CASEY: Rd 04 vs Brisbane Lions Reserves

amw drops a sitter of a mark on the d50 and the bears have not one, not two, but three players free and clear i50 so they can walk it into goal

he's been very poor based on the 2 and a bit quarters i've seen - regular turnover merchant

What's happening with getting Ah-mu?

Haven't kept up with the goings on here.

Casey doing well all over the ground, but are super clumsy finishing each passage of play. Really liking the hard work general play of young Matthews & Stanley, but it seems we are down on play makers and finishers.

Alot of clangers across the board.

One clean bit of play starting with Sinnema there for the goal.

Getting smashed out of the middle and around stoppage.

Where's Hendo at? He looks to have gone backwards imho.

Luker hits the scoreboard off minimal touches, but he really doesn't get a lot of the ball. Wonder if it's him or the supply from the level he's playing at.

Only one way to find out really. I hope Jefferson plays well but Luker is just waiting for him to turn in a bad one.

Onley's kicking needs a lot of work.

There was a lot of back and forth over whether he was part of our NGA before he was determined he wasn't.

I thought he still looked a talented prospect considering his size and strength for his age, but he went unnoticed by clubs last year on the draft.

I imagine he'll be on the radar of clubs lacking a young key forward prospect if he can piece together a decent season at Casey.

The general decision making and kicking on transition post 'mid-field' is woeful today. Under very little pressure at times too

onley would have to be one of the worst users of the ball by foot i've ever seen

under zero pressure it seems to come off his ankle and skew sideways

adjacent to elijah hollands in the pre-game warm-up on thursday night

Our errors leading to turnovers leading to Lions scoring are killing us.

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
