It annoyed me when people said we were bottom four in the pre-season, when Richmond, Port, Essendon, West Coast, and even Carlton just have putrid lists with minimal depth. Richmond maybe the exception because they have some genuinely good kids. Port is terrible.

Port Adelaide’s first four matches for the season were against North Melbourne, Essendon, West Coast and Richmond. The four bottom teams from last year. They would have been expecting to do better than 2 - 2 after four games.

Also, Carlton’s continued form is pretty funny. Although, I felt that they got the rough end of the pineapple a few times in the last quarter when I turned it on.

Some real ordinary games so far this weekend. It’s only going to get worse when Tassie comes in. Was actually pleased to hear Kane Kornes speak about it during the week. The depth isn’t there for this competition to expand.
