NON-MFC: Round 04

Featured Replies

It annoyed me when people said we were bottom four in the pre-season, when Richmond, Port, Essendon, West Coast, and even Carlton just have putrid lists with minimal depth. Richmond maybe the exception because they have some genuinely good kids. Port is terrible.

Is it a pickett fence?

LOL, yes itis biggestred. 5ft high and around 20 metres long in vivid white. The pickets are so close together that trying to paint the sides of each one is a complete mare.

Tigers have been very poor.

i reckon it's between them and Essendon for the wooden spoon

Port Adelaide’s first four matches for the season were against North Melbourne, Essendon, West Coast and Richmond. The four bottom teams from last year. They would have been expecting to do better than 2 - 2 after four games.

Lucky they are not 0–4.

I just could not watch that tripe today.

Got a laugh out of last nights game though!🤣

Also, Carlton’s continued form is pretty funny. Although, I felt that they got the rough end of the pineapple a few times in the last quarter when I turned it on.

Some real ordinary games so far this weekend. It’s only going to get worse when Tassie comes in. Was actually pleased to hear Kane Kornes speak about it during the week. The depth isn’t there for this competition to expand.

Probably a fair call as –

The Pies are -10 centre square clearances with N Daicos in the middle as opposed to their usual average.

My theory is that he runs forward a bit too much and consequently leaves somebody free to hand ball forward to.

Hoping for an Eagles upset tonight, but it looks like I’m not in luck. Maybe a come from the clouds last quarter?

Otherwise, it looks like Netflix.

Hey Vossy here you go.....

It’s alright, apparently he’s got some kittens – probably ginger, with some tortoiseshell and calico.

Price of pets these days he’ll make a fortune!

Eagles inept

a lot of poor teams in the league

we should be getting 8-10 wins

You really do need to question the psychological state of the players.

Two weeks in a row now that they have gotten to 20 point lead in the last quarter and completely crumble under pressure.

Imagine their supporters...

I would probably start with dropping Cripps and Walsh.

Then probably another 4–6 out of the leadership group. There’s not many that would be safe. Also, you could not even say that it is going to change the result.

Can’t see it happening, but it might have been the only way.

If Voss is not gone already, it’s only because the Sanhedrin met last Thursday.

bloods are just running at a different speed to meth coke

after the great win against the pear last week it's a bit of a let down

signing a 25 year old sam walsh to an 8 year deal worth reportedly over $10m was just insanity

he might be a clean skin off the park, but he has achieved nothing compared to the likes of oliver on the field and is constantly injured

this is getting very ugly

could be a 150+ loss here for the eagles

Walsh is a very good player, he's just surrounded by knuckleheads

The Australian Film Finance Corporation is proud to announce the release of their new film "186ish", a historical dramatised documentary, featuring an ensemble cast headlined by Isaac Heeney as Stevie Johnson and Charlie Curnow as Cameron Mooney.

Unfortunately, early reviews have been mixed, with pre-release screenings saying 'lacks the full impact of the original' and 'the supporting cast didn't add much to the spectacle'.

"Honestly, while it was impressive as a piece of choreographed violence, I don't think I'd want to sit through that again," said one punter.

"I'm just not sure there is much left in this franchise. How many John Wick movies is this, now?"

Weird seeing Goodwin on the swans bench next to JJ…

Hope the afl are proud that they ignore the heartland of footy & foundation clubs and support northern clubs with exclusive academies to remain relevant vs the nrl, one can only imagine what the afl would be doing if the Swans had the same poor record as WC has experienced in the last 5 years

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
