Answorth the is still on their list.

ah yes. I was thinking Starchavich I think

but i had a few last night

Cripps with 5 touches and 2 clangers. giving away frees

His drop off has been remarkable. Inside miss are still relevant to a degree. eg Steele and Clarry still playing well

All of Carltonโ€™s 4 goals so far are from frees.

It was there, but that is now 5 of their first 6 goals from frees.

doesn't look like there's a huge amount of pressure thus far in this game

that north midfield should be elite - ldu, sheezel, wardlaw, mckercher, powell, o'sullivan are all top five picks, i think?

far better quality than the baggers' cripps, walsh, smith or bust

add duursma too

emerging as a player, albeit less as a mid and more a tall forward flanker

Voss on the boundary barking instructions. But no advice coming into headphones so he has. No help. Must be his fault or his football department

it is quite bizarre isn't it

the disconnect in their football dept must be significant

Yes in my opinion, very few coach from the boundary. If they do they are listening to the assistants up above

He does have some sort of screen in front of him

Shockingly over officiated game.

40 total free kicks with 2 minutes left in the third quarter.

truly bizarre umpiring

not letting the game flow at all

i reckon 22 points will be enough of a lead for Carlton this week

I've been disappointed with North. Poor performance from them

with carlton you can never be sure

If there was one KPF in the league i'd like to see in the red and blue it would be Nick Larkey. excellent player.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFLโ€™s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.ย
