Hi
DEMONLANDERS I don't want people to agree with me but for too many years we have been seen as off to Buller [censored] when we lose ,I was at Footscray today It is such a fantastic set up for them ,why haven't we got the same thing for us because our club has to get up and make a stand ,we are one of the oldest sporting clubs in the world and we are supposedly seen as a private schools club .I have been around and I remember there were a bunch of guys who used to be called THE FERALS who stood in the old Southern Stand totally out of control an totally un PC the club wanted to ban them but they were great fun and passionate DEES ,and now Im seeing that absolute fool for FREO carrying LANGERS on his shoulders across the boundary ad infinitum I don't see the joke in it ,I don't find it funny I know it sounds bad but I would have loved MAX to put that FREO player very close to the fence or over the fence .The boys didn't give up tonight good signs there .I love the DEES ,I just hate they way football fans are treated now and coming home tonight from a quick meal out with my lovely, wife now fanatical DEES girl looking forward to the game pre match start up seeing run out etc the game already 11 mins in ,on a streaming service the AFL has me to pay for to watch ad free was the straw that broke the camels back. I will take a break for awhile PS thanks to my fellow DEMONLANDERS at todays VFL match for their updates .

GUTFULL We'll I've seen enough not watching the last quarter. We should change our name to the Melbourne Fumblers. First quarter the worst effort I have seen from the club since last years Gold Coast game. The 3rd quarter not much better.

Thank god for Gawn, Steele who's been a better recruit than Oliver and Tholstrup who's shown us he can be one of the best taggers in the comp. The rest have been disgusting. If this is the new Melbourne I want Goodwin back.

ARE YOU READY TO RUMBLE?

YES That thing in a Freo jumper in need of a Brain carrying Langers across the boundary I,d love to rumble .

I did wonder if that was another holding the man free gone missing.

Watched the Casey boys where only Heath looked reasonable so knew why King made no changes.

Ive had a gutful of not manning up when opposition has the ball.

Had a gut full of:-

• The game is faster than ever, and in this game you need to handball. And I mean be able to handball with speed, penetration both hands. Ie. more than 5 metres.

Harvey Langford cannot handball. He hasn’t improved since his diabolical presence on the Sunday Footy Show where he inexplicably couldn’t handball with his right hand at all. At all!

His normal left handed handballs are powder puffs along with his decision making - puts his teammates under pressure. This stood out like the proverbial against Fremantle when the pressure was on.

The only thing going for him is his left foot. And that’s not enough for King I’m afraid.

• This game isn’t soccer! I know we had a soccer visitor from Arsenal during the week, but pick the ball up Salem! Oppo smells blood when they see you to “opt out” by not putting your body over the ball and picking the ball up - instead kicking it off the ground to no one - it’s a sign of frailty and weakness and the oppo grow a leg in confidence! Even the commentators picked up on it! [censored] weak !

The Whitten Oval development is unreal. If more people got down to it I reckon it’d put a heap of pressure on our board.

They have what we need.

Surely people realise the Giants/Saints game was put back maybe 45 mins due to lightning. Fifteen mins before our game started a message came on the screen that our game had been moved to ch503. Hopefully they kept repeating that message. You cant blane the AFL for that. Also Fox has used 503 like this plenty of times.

Like that great song on COUNTDOWN by ROGER VODUORIS .BETTER GET USED TO IT BABY _ I,ll be around .

So, I just noticed that the AFL puts out their usual article titled: This week we learned ...

... before the last game of the round had even started ...??

Disrespectful to both clubs.

Oh, and we learned we'd had a GUTFULL!!

I've gotten a few Gaviscon adds. Now I know why.

And some light and easy.

Re I HAVE HAD A GUTFUL

What actually has got me to this ,was after 32 years straight as a RED LEGS boy ,changed over to an AFL club support for me and my wife ,cheaper easier access to Docklands ,which I think is a great venue .Paid in Sept last year all I have is an email of 2 barcode nos ,no little plastic card with Johnny Dee on it have had to pay $10 to AFL will receive it in 4 weeks time ? .Since then have paid over $110 for the next few games at the G ,to gain entry .Have no bar code on Phone App ,rang the Dees only to be told AFL problem ,yes I was respectful MAX .I will be back with the DEES Membership next year .As for the AFL NEVER AGAIN .

Ps have had some lovely feedback from well known Grog chain .on discount Melb Bitter Slabs ,see we get shafted there why are the so expensive

Well known pharmacy chain that explodes at the Gee, discount on good sedatives etc .

Instead of going to the the Indian restaurant prior to waiting of my 7.35 start on Foxtel will be ferreting out my old SWAMI SAHRAVASTI VHS ,S doing a bit of mindfulness yoga prior to the games if watching on the box . Love The Dees Love Demonland .

I thought this thread was about the umpires decision in the third quarter in the game on Saturday when Kolt carried the ball over the boundary line and was called for insufficient intent. I cracked the [censored] at that point and turned off the telly. I was hopeful this lasso rule would rid the game of these crazy "umpire has no integrity" interpretation rules. F'n afl.

Rant over.

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
