Two matches in a row pretty much over at quarter time.

Scintillating stuff from the AFL and another team on the way about to spread the talent even thinner.

They will be happy that their love child the Suns is doing well.

Don’t think Ken Hinkley will have much of a media career. Still very parochial Port Adelaide

C hook, I've got news for you - Brian Taylor, Eddie McGuire, James Brayshaw, the list goes on, are all one eyed and dismal. I think Hinkley is quite good.

Hate Port....especially their fans. Sadly my dislike of them is greater than that of the Don's. Bummer.

I will say that port have one of the lamest theme songs. Probably the worst. Gws's has kind of actually grown on me albeit like a fungus. But that's between my Dr and I.

Anyway suffice to say, I've had a gutful of it and their suppoters toothless mugs.

So many dislike BT but I find his lack of finishing sentences or comments that dont go anywhere most amusing. Much like my posts. He's like a fast talking Christopher Walkin.

I agree. A recently retired coach has insights to share. I like his manner and delivery of his comments. I also think it really nice that he was on the ground during their warmup as a “friend” as he put it.

I’m just grumpy after last night.

2 blatant home town umpiring decisions already in the eagle's north game

Voss fined for taunting Petty!🤣

He has quickly risen right to the top of my most disliked players list = with TWSNBN !!!

Trac injured

Oliver was average. Handballs to no one once again on show

Trac’s mum not too happy about his 4-6 week hammy. Pointing the finger at GC high performance team (some nonsense about mismanagement). Apparently he will request a trade back to Melbourne at the end of the season.

WC looking OK against North. Could be a smokey to finish 17th this year.

🦅Eagles energy is good. Like the aggressive running.

🤡Reid during Harley Reid things, Flattening opponents after disposals. Mouthing off Celebrating goals that were clearly touched

️Willem Duursma is a genuine star of the future. If only we had an “academy” zone !!

Good to see WC potentially turning the corner from cluster [censored] to poor team.

No good having train wreck teams. Not that I want them to be successful.

They have recruited well recently

North's winning streak finally looks to be over.

Norths comedown will be much tougher then ours

They have essendon next Saturday night. Could be intriguing

North losing to West Coast after an impressive round 1 showing of a team on the rise is literally the equivalent to when we beat GWS, a team who went on to contest a Prelim later in 2016 only to lose to the Essendon reserves the following week.

Xerri dominated, Sheezle had 40, LDU had 30, Larkey kicked 6, Powell and McKercher had good games and Comben is a really good key defender. Finn O Sullivan, Curtis, Dovastan are very capable. That kid Blamires looks a good player on the rise.

Reckon they will still be alright. Like Melbourne in 2016, North fans should expect a lot of growth, but also a lot of growing pains at the same time.

Brad Scott looked a broken man in his presser. On the verge of bursting into tears. Said his team were demoralised. What a time to be alive.

hate bloody essenscum !!

Trac out for 4-8 weeks

You really have to feel for him

He finally starting giving 100% after the last couple of years

Life can be cruel

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
