Viney has been a fantastic servant of the club and I've loved his career from the start, but the way he and his manager took advantage of us in a weakened position to get an extra couple of years on his contract (when he has already had injury issues) really rubbed me the wrong way. If he was out of contact he would’ve deserved at least 2 years, maybe 3 for such a great servant. But effectively 4 was just crazy stuff.

My theory is Goodie was looking for a good news story to distract from the team's performance.

Bad news about Viney, probably won’t see him to after the bye in the best case, but slightly good news on Culley, if he’s out for the 4 weeks quoted he might only miss 1 game.
