Look… we have one once in 57 years or so. We have been rubbish for the vast majority of the years we haven’t won or been at the top.

I think people are justified in being pessimistic.

When we start being top dogs like Geelong every year for a decade, I think people might come around.

Until then, I’m keeping my safety blanket.

Funnily enough we've won the same amount of flags as the great Geelong has in the last decade, and still have 3 flags on them overall. No need to be pessy, we'll be back up there before you can say "Steven King".

I was asking my wife what half the emojis attached to the bikini ladies profiles meant last night. I learnt some things.

Fingers crossed. I love us as much as anyone, I just wish we didn’t go from the top to bottom so quickly. It’s the most dissatisfying feeling.

I think the secret to being across all this stuff is pretending to be across it.

That goes for kids stuff as well.

I go away for an hour and there's like 5 new pages. Has anything happened yet?

Humphrey potentially has a new Melbourne supporting girlfriend, and Jeffo is currently making him a red and blue friendship bracelet to wear to his first soccer match at Casey

I realised I was a very sheltered lad. Too much Demonland, not enough OF.

I have it on good authority that the AFL will do all they can to prevent Bailey Humphrey and Jeffo being on the same team.

When Jeffo wins the next 8 brownlows, Nick Daicos is going to be very very angry and has threatened to write a letter telling the AFL how angry he is.

Funny I am skimming through all the posts and only interested in posts from @Demon Forever and basically ignoring all other posts, no offence my fellow demonland posters but I want to know one way or another 🤣.

Just my thoughts. If we bring in Bailey and Mihocek, are we a better team with those 2 inclusions whilst losing Petracca, Oliver and Judd?

Didnt mention Spargo as he hasnt really played a lot over the past 2 years.

No

I'm old enough to remember when people used to read Playboy for the articles.

And let's be honest..

When you lose a game after leading by 46 points at 3QT, you may as well have a tail nailed to your behind..

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
