I think he should be playing up, JVR could learn a lot from his bullishness and power.

a good bridge player for a bottom six side, like cam pedersen was once upon a time to be a battering ram and take heat off some kids, i'm just not sure what he brings to a side already full of seasoned bodies, he isnt a polish cherry on top player like a mannagh or davidson so for mine it was a bit of a nothing selection and if we didn't already have melksham and fritsch (mihoceks recruitment makes it even harder as well) as similarly sized options he'd get more opportunities, the number of games he plays next year will have a direct correlation to how well our season is going. for the teams sake i hope its at or below that 5 mark again, of course I would love to be wrong too

On his return from a relatively lengthy injury or suspension spell on the sidelines. AJ played an absolute bottler of a game for Casey against Carlton’s VFL side. With five goals and multiple marks. Statistically it would have to be the high water mark of his season.

Described in his MFC mini-bio as an ‘athletic brute’. When on song, his value to the team is exemplified by his bullocking efforts and 1%’s. To have an impact at AFL level, his involvement in the game would need to evolve from cameos, to more consistent full blooded efforts. Another preseason may allow him to build a bigger ‘tank’.

I like a few others don't think that we saw enough of him through one reason or another(suspension).

Off the field AJ is quiet and unassuming, I’d even say he’s gentle and sweet-natured. He steps onto the field and immediately gets his Hulk on. He calls it white line fever. I call it Jeckyll and Hyde. 😁

An exceptionally limited, although very hard working, footballer who should not be getting AFL games ahead of any of Van Rooyen, Jefferson or Kentfield next year. If he plays regularly it is a fair indication that we are on track for another bottom five finish and that our young forwards are not progressing.

We definitely need more aggression and physicality in the team, but it needs to be directed in the right areas. Incurring multiple suspensions for actions that were plain dumb and certainly not tough is not acceptable.

Mobility and form was improved after the ankle surgery. If he can refine his style a bit more I think he can get some games in 2026.

Would like to see him working on his short disposal to put players into space AFTER splitting the pack apart. He needs to go into the contest with a plan – too many times this year his plan was to be surprised and just throw it on the boot.

Love his aggression & attack on the ball but too short to ruck except in emergencies & probably not skilled enough to be a key forward.

Probably not going to be a game breaker at AFL level but I think he should've featured more in the senior side this season.

Loved his game against the Swannies where he set up 2-3 goals with little taps and handpasses.

If his skills were a bit better he'd be a genuine gun.

Agree but I’d be very surprised if we see any more games from Jefferson at all at afl level

Cam Pederson was a zillion times better than this guy who in my estimation should never have made an AFL list!

Good luck to him but seriously he does not look like a top 26 player if everyone fit and well.

That said he is strong, hard working and hard at it - a handy back up at best.

As the late Charlie Kirk would ask - prove me wrong Aidan.

I would love to be proven wrong.

Bumped into him only about 2 weeks back at a local footy finals game and had a decent chat with him.

I just couldn't get over how much his body shape has changed significantly since i last saw him.
