Helps but still not enough.

5 goal turnaround that quarter

if lions can kick the first in the last quarter they should be home

Rayner actually EARNED a couple of goals.

Go Bears. 🐻

I get putting the whistle away in finals but some of these holding the ball non-calls against the filth are a joke.

We all know that its going to take something really special for Brisbane to pull this off. You read correctly, Collingwood are the favourites. Don't be a sucker and fall for the sucker punch. First goal must go Brisbane's way. Can they do it?

The Lions cheer squad is fantastic tonight. Very frequent and well-timed chants. Unlike Collingwood who seem to know only that one long Collingwood chant, other than that their arsenal comprises boos, lots of boos, and the odd grunt. Amateurs.

And the continuous BALL!!!

Both teams doing a lot of poor kicking into F50. That last goal to the Lions is what they need to do more. Those repeated small kicks to free players cut the Pies apart. Pies play last quarter really well but the Lions are aware and up to the challenge.

I don't know what it's like on CH7 (well, I probably do) but the commentary is absolutely unlistenable on Kayo. Everyone trying to out gush and out shout each other.

Yep. Whenever Brisbane keep it away from Collingwood they score. If they get to the 100 marks + they have no reason not to win.

How about: he volunteers at a homeless shelter and he visits his grandma regularly?

I hope so as I've taken the lions at the line.

And with a bit luck they'll get the first couple and the pies suddenly realise they ain't gonna play in the GF and drop their head and I'll also get the +40.

Go back to sleep, Deeves. It’s all just a dream

Can we just skip to cricket season already? Lets get the ashes going.

Actually I've just flicked it over to fox cricket & discovered the girls are playing India in a 1 dayer.

I can't stomach this last 30 minutes. Have no idea how the lions fans are dealing this this.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
