Completely overturned that quarter. Brisbane sucked in to the ropeadope. Had their kick-mark game on a string in the first and then some crucial errors from an experienced palyer who should be better.

Collingwood one foot in the GF.

Why are any of you surprised? Rigged.

If the Pies win this, I am not watching the grand final.

Zorko needs to go to confession admit that he has cost his team a Grand Final berth and only after saying 1 million Our Fathers and 2 Million Hail Mary's he still should spend time in purgatory, about a zillion years to be exact. But then out only on bail, ( easy to get in Vic)

Definitely not surprised. But still angry as F

Just back from seeing the mighty Eaglehawk defeat the odds-on favourite Sandhurst in the Bendigo Football League GF. Amazing come from behind win. Go the mighty Burra!!

Cats last night, Burra today, so now hoping for a Lions win tonight.

I have only seen the last 10 mins of that 2nd quarter but if the Lions stop fumbling, and stop kicking blind high floaters directly to Moore, Howe etc... then they can pick the game back up and press on for a win. With all their injuries, and Cameron and Zorko having horror finals, it will be a miracle if they can do it.

I said this in 2023 and I stuck to it. There’s simply no good reason to watch it. Unless you check the scores late in the game and Collingwood look like losing, then you turn on every TV in your house and crank the volume up to 11 🤙🏾

Hope Pendles plays in the grand final.

Wouldn’t be more deserving.

I don’t. I hope he misses it. I hope some more of their players go down and subsequently miss next week. No love for Pendlebury… not while he backs up the likes of Maynard. IMHO

Speaking from experience, Fence?

And there it is!

All frees were there. You cant kick the ball away, you cant run across a mark.

Dodgy free to begin with, and lightning 50 meter response initially because of Daicos I think

You just KNOW they’ll win this. What a [censored] end to a [censored] season.

YESSSSS!!! Come on Lions!

Has Cam Rayner had a touch?

Brody Mihocek is the only Filth player I don’t hate.

Just in case anyone was wondering 😅

  • AFLW REPORT: Gold Coast

The forecast said wind. The ladder said mismatch. The scoreboard said obliteration. Melbourne didn’t just beat Gold Coast — they dismantled them: 13.15 (93) to 0.6 (6). An 87-point obliteration, the Suns held goalless, and the Demons delivering their second-highest winning margin and third-highest score in AFLW history.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #28 Will Verrall

It was a tough ask for him to break through as a 199cm ruckman in the shadow of an all-time great in that position who is also the club captain. He had some good days at Casey but was unable to progress and was delisted at the end of the season.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #29 Tom Campbell

The 33-year-old Campbell has yet to play AFL football for Melbourne, but his Casey form has been strong and he has been retained as a ready-made ruck depth option who is widely regarded as someone who is excellent for the culture of the club.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #30 Harry Sharp

The Demons acquired an interesting player in Sharp, who narrowly missed securing a spot in the Lions’ premiership team last year. The 22-year-old medium forward played in the opening round this season and ended up with 18 senior games, although he was substituted in or out in for ten of those matches. He demonstrated glimpses of form, but ultimately ended the year on the margins of the team.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #31 Bayley Fritsch

Worked his way back after a slow start and a further slump in form going into the midseason but became a solid contributor for the club in the latter half of 2025. Closing in on 300 goals for the club.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Gold Coast

On Friday, the Demons return to our Casey Fields fortress where they have a 77% win rate. The scent of September is in the air and the struggling Suns are on the horizon. The Cranbourne weather forecast? Ominous, like the match itself: a strong chance of carnage. Let’s be honest, last week’s first half against the West Coast was a training drill but we dropped our guard in the final quarter. While this match is a mismatch on paper — second versus seventeenth — football is won in the wind, the contests, and the moments.
