Well you wonโ€™t see it this week because he has been dropped, again. Give the poor guy some continuity, as a forward, to see what he has.

Ok Voss sacked.

Who replaces him.?

I donโ€™t know - but interested.

Hinkley

There are so many parallels between the Deez and Carltank, it's both uncanny and horrifying. Our list is in slightly better shape, but unless we take more radical remedial action on the list, and the FD, we'll be them soon enough. And they are starring into the abyss which is playing centre half-forward and has just kicked its fifth for the quarter.

Oh come on, surely you are kidding! In the first 5 rounds, he took 5 marks....total! He was rightfully dropped, never set the world on fire in the twos and has been very ordinary since. Deserves to be dropped again, at the moment he offers very little

Except the Port player is mobile, knows where to be to get the ball, and can take a mark or two.

One difference ... I'm glad we've got Kozzy Pickett and not Jesse Motlop.

I'll be watching bonts 250th tonight while eating my dinner inspired by Christian Petraccas steak tacos with avocado from the coles magazine

Funny you mention Jesse Motlop. I watched the Carlton game with 2 mates. One's Filth, the other Norf. Ask asked each other the hypothetical question: how many players would you want out of Carlton. at our respective clubs. The Pies guy, who I'm pretty sure is a retired spook, said he wouldn't want any of them near Collingwood. The Norf guy nominated Weeta, Curnow and some c-grader. I nominated about six guys, including Motlop. I might be wrong, but recon he has some serious upside for a 21 year old.

Amartey dropped after 6 beautiful shots at goal last week

Imagine if we decided to drop players because of bad kicking.

He's actually out with hamstring tightness from training during the week

Struggle getting into games played at the SCG. The ground is joke-size.

The joint looks half empty on TV.

Carlton's list management is amazing. How the hell did Carlton let Kennedy go?

He was good at GWS as well. Probably more to do with Voss as coach.

The kicking inside F50 in the Swans v Dogs match is insane. Brilliant to watch. Some of the field kicking is similar.

Their 50โ€™s look fairly open. Why does our always look so congested?

And even more to the point, how the hell he's not running around with us?

Gawn would love these umpires. Grundy did the exact same thing against him for no frees.

Yes obviously the umpires had a forensic session on blocking in the ruck during the week and rediscovered the rule, although I must admit I couldnโ€™t see what Grundy was doing that he and others havenโ€™t been doing all season. But itโ€™s cost him 3 blocking frees against in centre bounces.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isnโ€™t a standard conceptโ€”itโ€™s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking. ย We filled our boots with percentage โ€” now a whopping 520.7% โ€” and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourneโ€™s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasnโ€™t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's ย six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his teamโ€™s unfulfilled potential rang true โ€ฆ well, almost.ย
